The massive thirty-five thousand ship and three capital ship fleet arrived just above Hao.
At the same time, Tenebrean battle cruisers had engaged Atlantean pickets while their carriers ferried civilians to Hao's trader base on its moon.
Aboard the spacious triangular shaped bridge of the elegant and large wing shaped flag ship was commander Jacob Odinas. Brother of Joshua Odinas. Commander of the local colonial militia.
The flag ship was elegant and large. It had three large hangar bays under its hull and was so large that it blocked out the sun.
The Alphas on the ground who were fighting a guerrilla war against Atlantis and the Immortal Empire were shocked to see it and two hundred Cesaro Invasion Ships.
Escorting the invasion ships to Libert'e and Hao were fifty heavily armored Autumn Class battle cruisers. One of the cruisers, named Pillars Of Zeus, was escorting a small invasion ship towards Alejandro City. A small port that the Hell Jumpers on Libert'e evacuated towards.
A22, the brave hell jumper who was rescued just three days prior, smiled underneath his helmet.
"Command, I see the fleet."
He said.
"Okay, A22. I got your message. We see the calvary now. Looks like the Tenebrean's are whipping Atlantic ass out there. See what assets you can recover from Alejandro City. Out."
Responded Joshua Odinas.
"Ohh-ahh, command. I'll wait for reinforcements and then move in under dusk to secure the main elevator out. We still got civies on the ground. Out."
Replied A22.
Aboard the Navras, Joshua was in Cryptology. Having just finished talking to his ground assets, he walked over to Cryptology Command Master Chief Don Haran.
"Okay, Don. What mischievous goodies you got for me?"
He asked the smiling officer.
"We got access to the Atlantean command ship's master communication up link. I can broadcast any message I want to their forces. I suggest that you have the first words before I turn it over to Captain Albarei."
Replied Don.
Joshua smiled. "Tell them that they finally met their match. And in not so kind words, we're sending them back to the hell they came from. Hell, We are sending them to a worse place then the one they left."
Don smiled and saluted with a stiff fist bump to his heart. "On it, sir."
Aboard the Leget Dantarim, Atlantean pickets retreating from the Tenebrean massacre were regrouping under Immortal command.
Jacob was looking out the window in the empty meeting hall when a SORS technician walked in on him.
"Admiral Jacob," he began. Jacob looked up at him. "Secure Orbital Radar Systems have caught a picket of Atlantean and Immortal ships headed our way. What are your orders?"
Admiral Jacob responded after a tense pause. "Arm the MACs on all ships. Ready our weapons and engage. Let them have the first shot."
Jacob walked out to the bridge.
Just as he walked out ahead of the technician, his orbital chatter rang. He answered it.
"Admiral Jacob. How's the progress going. You get to Libert'e safely?"
Asked the woman's voice on the other end.
"Miss Stateswoman. As safe as it gets."
He responded.
"Good. Good. Let me know once their command ship burns. I know you are more than capable of finishing the job."
The voice responded.
"Thank you madame Stateswoman."
Jacob replied, as he arrived at the bridge.
"Okay men and women! We were spotted. Honeymoon's over. Let's get to work!"
Just as he saw the surviving militia fleet on the far side of the planet, the Tenebreans, also seeing the massive fleet, pulled back towards the moon. "This is Tenebrean command. We want to let your forces know that the moon has been cleared of hostile forces." stated a Tenebrean ship on the command intercom.
"Team one, secure those MACs! Get the Pillars Of Zeus and The Halls Of Freedom ready to engage!" Ordered Jacob after he sat down in tje command chair.
The battle over Hao was intense.
Radio technicians were commanding hundreds of fighters and bombers flanking enemy ships above the small world while invasion ships piloted through the fray to the surface.
"This is Cesaro Isis Twenty-two. We are taking heavy fire. Asking for MAC support twenty kilos from our position. Towards the sun, nine degrees below us!"
Radioed in an invasion ship as the Leget Dantarim lit up one of it's twenty Massive MAC turrets towards the ship's position. Wiping out the Atlantean ship.
"Immortal ships closing in on our position. Shields are down! We are crash-landing on Hao!" stated a frantic female officer aboard the Halls of Freedom. A powerful Autumn Class Battle Cruiser.
The Leget Dantarim was taking heavy fire from an Immortal ship. A massive ship which darted around her taking out one of her MACs.
"MAC down! MAC down!" a technician shouted from behind Jacob.
"Get the robots out there to fix it then!" Jacob barked at him.
Two tiny humanoid robotic astronauts drove out towards the downed turret and started reparing it. "Calibrate our OBL!" Jacob shouted. The ship orbited around the larger enemy ship. The large twenty one remaining MACs doing little damage to her shields. "Take down those shields on my count!" Jacob ordered as the larger enemy ship made a turn around towards them again. This time the Immortal ship made a miscalculation in her trajectory. Instead of facing away from the Leget Dantarim and letting the Dantarim's engines move her into the line of fire, the enemy ship fired her forward thrusters. She went straight towards the Leget Dantarim's bow. Angled towards the side, and facing ninety-nine degrees towards the port side of the Leget Dantarim, the forward guns of the enemy ship were useless.
"Fire the OBL!" Jacob shouted. The massive pink round fired out into the black void.
Right as the enemy ship turned to face the Leget Dantarim, she shuddered. "Fire the EMP charge NOW!" Jacob shouted, as the blue sparks of an EMP charged pink laser round hit the massive forward gun of the Immortal Ship.
"Cut her to pieces. Shields are down. She's dead in the water. Cut the damn ship to pieces!" Jacob muttered as he got up and walked to the map room behind him.
The Orbital Bombardment Laser made nice work of the enemy ship. It sheered her hull into forty clean cuts that dumped the scared crew into the void of space.
While the Leget Dantarim added a new check to her orbital bombardment, the battle continued to be waged above Libert'e. Hao's situation was under better control. Ground forces were fighting in it's urban jungles. Liberating the planet twenty cities at a time while Tenebreans focused on finding the pinned Hell Jumpers on Libert'e.
Commander Albarie was sitting in his map room, watching the massive fleet wage war in his colonial jurisdiction.
"We need to help them." He said to himself. "We'd better lick our wounds and assist or this battle will be lost."
He ordered his fleet to prepare to reengage. Crude fire ships were made from waste aboard the ship, and the remaining weapons calibrated and readied to engage.
The Navras was reentering the fight.
But they couldn't have reengage without help from Tenebrae. Taking over the rescue operation of civilians.
Or from the large space force of the Covenanted States: willing to engage and do what it must to survive.
As Albarei prepares his fleet, assistance is still required.
Allies are being asked to give up star maps to aid in the war against the massively powerful Immortal Empire.
Who will be willing to side with the Covenanted States?
Who will be willing to side with Freedom?
Aboard the King of Kings, the pretty stateswoman arrived at Tars with a massive expeditionary force of eleven thousand nine hundred, ninety two ships. Recapturing the colonies is her first priority. But now she asks for alliances in this war.
