Admiral Gala,
It is my utmost pleasure to report that Phase One has proceeded smoothly on ground and preparations for Phase 2 have been almost completed at 70 percent. As we speak, we are fortifying our position in the captured RPA Front Gate and a surrounding area of 4 blocks in radius with new reinforcements coming in from Fort Prima.
The opening attack; the standard opening artillery barrage, has yielded expected results. The barrage of rockets and shells have managed to soften up their entrenched positions very greatly, and we were able to storm into the city with minimal casualties; 3 KIAs and 5 wounded, in the initial attack. With armored support, Marines and attached special forces backing up the invasion force, we were able to capture their forward base and establish a foothold here at the City Entrance for the time being until Phase 2 is ready to be initiated. After the attack, we have additions of 15 KIAs and 20 wounded, 5 of which are fatalistic according to the field medics. Total of 18 KIAs and 25 wounded. Lower than initially projected by risk calculations.
We also received reports from our auxiliaries; Bravo Company and Juliet Company, that they have managed to breach the city side gates and are splitting up as of now to disorientate the enemy behind the lines, before linking with us in the middle of Phase 2 to provide support. They have special force elements, elite Marines and a handful of field-upgraded armor to back them up. I count on them to play their cards right, and that they would be in fighting condition once we have linked up with them soon as we begin our push deeper.
My staff is expecting a total of 300 troops and more accompanying tank elements of M110s, D67M-C IFVs and YB-1 transports prior to the initiation of Phase 2. We also have other equipment as well, listed in the attached files here.
Please advise, over.

Major Colonel Holz,
The command staff and I are pleased with your results. Relay our thanks, gratitude and encouragement to keep fighting on for the war effort. As for your dead and fatally wounded, I have confirmed that medievac vehicles have been sent from Fort Prima to zip up the dead and transport the wounded back to base for medical treatment. If conditions are serious beyond field measure, dropships are on standby to take them back to the Fleet where they will be shipped out of the warzone. In the mean time, do whatever you can to keep them stable. Continue to update me on any changes.
However, there has been a slight change of plans concerning Phase 2.
We are sending in GEN-OPS and BIO-OPS teams under the command of Commander Nur Ahmad [profile] to your location. They will be carrying out an operation and are regarded as independent, therefore they will not be under your jurisdiction as of now. Your men is advised to not move from their positions and especially to not go deeper into the city, as biological and chemical weapons are going to be deployed in the concentrated enemy areas. As for retreat, the only place you can reposition to is the Front Gate and outside it. Until their operation is over and confirmed safe, this rule is to be observed in full force. After all, the city is going to be contaminated and compromised. Do not jeopardize our war effort with an unnecessary death toll.
As per protocol as well, your men are not to be told of their presence or arrival. We do not want any enemy intel picking this attack up. You, and only you, are allowed to receive this information. Any questions, tell them its orders from the Fleet and that we are rearranging strategy. That should keep your subordinates satisfied.
We also are deploying a few political commissars to help you facilitate morale and cohesion. They will also be keeping an eye on you.
Over and out.
