С-Лatxoтyн Наnонаkл Central Tower | Capitol City | New Archon | Arkehold System
12:55 AST | Two hours before trading opens for the day.
S-L-N. The biggest Corporation operating in the Second Dawn by far. They handled raw material acquisition, processing, refinement and distribution as well as limited services in manufacturing and production. Their headquarters were based in the Capitol City on New Archon, the largest [and richest] city in the SD's territory renown for being a corporate executive's wet dream. The headquarters themselves were one of the biggest buildings in the entire city; A massive skyscraper constructed of a pristine black metal inlaid with cracks of pure diamond, it was 112 floors high with importance in a descending rate. The 112th floor being practically all closet space and the 1st floor being the personal office of SLN's Chief Executive Officer: Delta-1, one of the first Reborn to ever undergo consciousness transfer [Due to bribing a government official for an early spot] and a woman with enough personal wealth to put many to shame.
It was in this very building where our story was about to take place, as Delta was sat at their completely diamon-plated desk looking over a proposal from one of their rivals to cut a deal on Ancerium shipping prices to be lowered by 0.002% in exchange for limited rights to a deposit of Polonium when one of her assistants quietly opened the door and said in a hushed respectful tone "Ma'am, the others will arrive to the building shortly. How would you like to receive them and to which room shall they be led too?" She thought about it for half a second before she responded "The terrestrial room, prepare it with a more human touch and tell Syron that I want him to be there. As for how they're received, well I want you to personally greet them and give them the tourist treatment. Fancy words, history, what we do, yada yada. Me and Syr will be waiting for them." It was then that she stood up from her desk and signed the paper on it before stepping away and gesturing for the assistant to take the paper, crossing her arms as she looked towards a holo-screen embedded in the wall of her office with a sigh. This was going to be an interesting day...

Bright flashes of light surrounded by the darkness of the Arkehold system's void, powerful even without sound, marked the arrival and beginning of one of the first Altarian Systems Authority's ambitious expeditions to restore their connection to the Ancerious galaxy, the first step of a very long, mysterious, and to some, exciting journey.
Carrying a large delegation in comparison to the previous, independent expeditions to other worlds, three Altarian stars arrived on New Archon. A retrofitted cargo ship 1.5 kilometers in length with a very rare military FTL needed to jump out of Altarian territory, an Aestra-class VIP transport, and lastly, the Galoriana-class strikestar Antaloria. A 1.3 kilometers long warstar of the Altarian Self-Defense Force, that luckily, had informed the Second Dawn authorities it was merely present for escort duties.
However, those who made landfall were far more important than the vessels carrying them. Aboard the jet VTOL craft that landed with the delegation were the executives of some of the most prominent companies of the Altarian Systems Authority, walking at the very front of the delegation. Kaya Alsey, executive of Sinoria Outer Space Stars, the largest manufacturer of exploration ships. Erina Anlise, executive of Sinorian Weapons, a defense and disaster relief company mainly focused on the outer worlds of the ASA, and Aveth Mattheinsen, executive of Zeralith Heavy Industries, one the largest companies in the ASA, with a vast range of products and industries. Behind them followed other delegates, but none of them had control of the entire group, as that role was in the hands of Terov Rylet, department master of the Altarian department of foreign affairs. Noticeably, some robot units and soldiers were also present. A single soldier could be seen adjusting respirator gear, before being approached by Kaya.
-"The planetary atmosphere is perfectly safe for us, there's no need for that." -She said calmly, putting down the respirator, seeing the action, other officers and personnel followed, who she addressed again in a more excited tone.
-"I just hope all of you took the mandatory foreign languages courses necessary for this expedition." -She shrugged watching the confused reaction of the personnel, knowing very well no such order was issued but even then making the clueless personnel panic, and as they did, she returned to the front of the delegation, to be met with both laughter and disapproval of her action.
-"You think they'll help us?" -Erina commented, looking up at the massive headquarters ahead.
-"Those who do not share our devotion to the Altarian cause will not spend time and energy without gaining something in return. -"Terov replied with a serious tone waking forward."
The comment clearly made Erina upset, but her feeling was stopped by a familiar hand tapping her shoulder.
-"This may not be the most ideal of situations, but the galaxy is no stranger to cooperation and mutual respect, we'll get what's needed for our people to fight on. I promise!"*
Erina knew that if she was going to trust someone's word about the nature of the new worlds she was facing, it would be the word of someone who to her had already seen it all. With her confidence back, she joined the delegation again, making their way to indicated rendezvous points and the S-L-N headquarters.

Like a brick through a pane of glass, spacetime was shattered by the enormous brick of a ship dispatcheed by the cognate.
A 2km long hunk of scaffolding, cargo containers and seemingly technical components, a minor system supply carrier, the absolute biggest ship they could reasonably muster flying all the way out here. In complete opposition to their normal ships, this one had no external ceramic shell, instead directly showing the extremely messy (and slightly fleshy) innards of the ship, giving it a very alien organic, yet industrial look. Everything seemingly made of ceramics and polymers and the occasional bit of blue flesh or weird unidentifiable material, occasionally showing a golden glimmer or blue and yellow lights, almost none of it actually built straight but still somehow in an oddly geometric irregular, fractalesque grid pattern... The design made absolutely no sense but somehow still fit together perfectly.
Clearly the product of either a madman, or an AI hellbent on optimizing ships to maximum efficiency. Or as it was in this case, both.
Landing in an oddly insectoid landing ship, equipped with very unusual long rods instead of wings the ship set down on its weirdly articulate legs under the screeching harmonies of its propulsion, walked to its intended parking position and settled down to release the actual visitors:
-Iuno, in his usual tall, lanky, floaty-limbed 4-arm frame
-Valence in a standard roughly horse-sized beetle frame
-And 4 slightly different looking capulin, 3 of them being the 4-armed, somewhat bulbous lifter frames, the last being a somewhat bulked-up version of the bell-shaped recluse frame.
All shelled in the classic, classy white ceramic plates, black rubber closing the seams between the plates, occasional breaks showing the same unusual part-organic machinery underneath.
No audible talking from these six as they made their way to where they were told to go, but if one could hear their comms, boy was there ever a lot of noise... most of it just being Iuno excitedly blabbering on about potential opportunities with the occasional comment from one of the others...
Only those familiar with the faction would be aware, that the hyperactive bumbling fool leading the group that Iuno seemed to be, was actually the mastermind behind the government, organisation, logistics, design and management of the entire cognate, and Valence as the beetle he was riding was his direct second-in-command with the power to veto just about any order given... Or at least they were shards of these minds, local instances of them running on the computers of the massive carrier parked in orbit. And right now, these two instances may well be the most important ones they have.

Spacetime is a fickle thing. One can poke and prod at it with all the fancy tools imaginable, and will react upon the stimuli. Rarely however, does it bend to one's absolute will. But so it did, folding up neatly into an infinite edge of a finite sphere. Time and space, unified into one, gracefully moving a ship through the celestial aether. A ship, one both organic and technological made its way to the planet, the typical glow of engines not present in one area, but rather as an aura around the ship. It was as if the universe itself moved the kilometer long vessel, no need for typical thrusters.
From within, a being sat upon a throne of invisible strings. Her hands weaved the strings of the universe with free will, listening and obeying her every thought. She was no ordinary sophont. This one was both the mightiest shield and the deadliest weapon. Both the richest merchant and the noblest worker. Both a being of the third dimension, and a mind of the fourth dimension. She was once the biggest supercluster and the smallest atom. She was both the a creature of the artificial and the embodiment of the natural. She was creation and creator.
She was... Lillian.
Her etherial form flickered within the confines of her chains, ones forged by the hands of the dimension she was realized in. Her human-like projection of her vast being seemed void of any one emotion, seeming to be both lacking and emanating aura.
The empty eyes of the tangible projection came to life, glowing in fractal-like patterns. The aura around her made a gravitational outline of her very form. This one's form donned snowy white hair and attire. A curvy white dress reaching down to one's knees. Etherial gems glistened within the form of the dress, ones constantly changing form.
Dana [Columen Artificialis] — 11/06/2023 04:23
Covering her torso was a coat, military in design. It floated just above this ones form, but always kept on her. She sported a necklace, a surface-less sphere showing off the technological prowess of a sophont beginning to transcend the physical plane. Her luscious hair was untied, free to sway in the wind.
Behind her projection, two others appeared. Hulking in size, they both surpassed the already enormous height of the preferred entity, and seemed to just impose strength. Around them, a gravitational outline could be observed just like the first body. They never observed the other, absolutely sure of the other's existence and position. They all walked to a smaller VTOL ship, the one that would land on the designated location.
Her purpose was a summoning of minor centralized monopolies from all around the galaxy, ones that functioned as sovereign entities focusing on quintessential medium. She did not fully identify under the parameters set by the definition, but was aware that she fundamentally acted like one, even so if to survive within the galactic quintessential medium. She was amused and intrigued as to what this convocation of monopolies would bring to her. She wished that it would be a way to expand the quintessential medium and create a better society.

Delta stared at the screen with a curious expression as she watched the various parties approach the tower, however those she was most interested in were the individuals from the ASA. The way they carried themselves, their appearances, the ships they arrived on... it was just so.. intriguing. Something felt off about them to her but she couldn't tell what. After a few seconds she chuckled before rolling up the sleeves to her dark maroon suit as six very simple serpentine-like holographic eyes flickered to life on her face, each blinking individually to test the projections before they fully calibrated themselves. She rolled her shoulders before making her way to the door of her office.
Meanwhile, the assistant she had dispatched to greet the arriving parties was standing outside the front door to massive skyscraper behind her. She was wearing what looked to be an absurdly expensive dress with a suit jacket over it, the material rippling as if it was some sort of liquid and shimmering like, ironically enough, a pool of oil. A small golden pin was present on the jacket's right pocket of the SLN's logo. Her frame itself was also rather intricate, with her plates having that same rippling texture and oily sheen like her clothing but quite a bit fancier. The white lights that most Reborn had were replaced by a bright gold and her coolant tubes were covered by a thin golden screen that made it appear as if liquid gold was coursing through her. She raised a hand up gently into the air to make herself known to the approaching gaggle of foreigners and once they were within earshot she said in an obviously fabricated happy voice "Welcome, travelers, to the Second Dawn's most illustrious building: The С-Лatxoтyн Наnонаkл Central Tower!"

The crews and escorts had landed, their equipment had been arranged, and with the last moments of chatting between the Altarian crewmembers and the delegation had ended, their attention turned fully to the world around them, and the entities from all over the galaxy accompanying them. Even with the information that more nations would be present at this reunion, the sights around them were no less than mind-blowing, and in the case of she who was most moved by this sight, nostalgic, and welcoming. Delegate Kaya Alsey had a very long history traveling to other nations, meeting countless alien species and listening to an endless stream of stories from every corner of the galaxy. Unfortunately, such distant memory of an awe-inspiring journey was covered in blood, betrayal, and the horrors of war. Leading the way for her delegation, she prayed to the stars above that this time, she could witness a peaceful reunion, one not stained by the brutality of conflict and death.
Fortunately for her, having walked ahead of her teams by a few steps, allowing herself to pay closer attention to the groups and entities from other nations, intrigued by their origins and intentions, would be warmly received by the voice of the assistant dispatched by Delta, her appearance and costume were not completely alien to her, taking away some of her doubts and transforming them into fascination, until the assistant spoke the name of the tower, bringing back Kaya’s confusion seemingly unable to answer as she couldn’t tell what the assistant had just said.
-”Speaking for the people of the Altarian Systems Authority, I thank you for giving us this opportunity to meet once again in peaceful terms. I look forward to seeing the results of this meeting. May we find common grounds for cooperation and mutual prosperity.” -Terov Rylet spoke as he got close to the assistant and Kaya, allowing himself to speak for his people thanks to Kaya’s silence. From this point on however, he expected that everyone he had come with would speak up. There was a lot of work to be done.

She was unamused by the masquerade of happiness set by the Reborn, one she was all too used to. However, her interest piqued at the sight of the other delegates accompanying them in the summit. She bowed gracefully before the chosen Reborn, as her two bodyguards bowed towards the other delegates. She was grateful at the appearance of many that could help in the journey to make the universe better, increase the universal quintessential medium. A smile made its way to Lillian's face, her gravitational lens shifting ever so slightly to all who could see it. She acted like royalty, and yet she longed for interaction.
"To all present, I give you warm salutations and wishes of utmost sincerity in the hope that this meeting brings forth fruits for all. And to you, regal Reborn, as the delegate of the Altarian Systems Authority mentioned so gracefully, I give you my gratitude for making this possible. For prosperity does not happen in a vacuum, we are the creators of it."
Her tone regal, posture pristine, and words sincere. She truly wished to make the galaxy a better place, one where people of all races could exist without the fear of their primal necessities being threatened. The two bodyguards behind her simply stood alongside the being.

It seemed almost purposeful that the Cognate's delegation had been, even if by just a bit, the last to arrive, if only to give them slightly more time to study the others and let them get an introduction off to get a better general impression.
They all arrived and halted in perfect formation. The three lifters at the back, led by the bell, Valence ahead of them, and Iuno at the very front of the assembly...
It looked almost comical as they all stopped and bowed at the exact same time in perfect robotic coordination, all making the exact same generic greeting movements, and only once they were done did Iuno get back into his proper formal posture, very upright, both pairs of arms politely crossed behind his back.
And as he started to speak, it wasn't easy to tell if he nailed the fabricated tone of voice the reborn had done on accident or on purpose... But this was someone who was clearly used to and skilled with speaking in such a tone.
"On behalf of every iteration of me and by extent all people and other minds of the Cognate, I extend greetings to you all, and to the fullest of my extent assure and promise that I will do and strive to achieve, to the highest extent of my capabilities, that which will result in the greatest mutual benefit to all of us and the people we stand for. May this be the beginning of much mutually beneficial cooperation."
And despite sounding and looking very much like a pre-recorded caricature of himself, he somehow still managed to come across surprisingly sincere in his delivery.

The assistant nodded to their introductions and gestured towards the main entrance, two elaborate black quartz double-doors lined with elegant silver furnishings and golden handles, and said in that perfectly plastic tone; "If you will follow me, we will proceed to the main lobby and then to the lift where you will then be transported to the nineteenth floor where the Board, Chief Executive Officer Delta-One and Corporate Co-operation Liasson Syron awaits you. If you have any questions feel free to voice them as I will only be present to guide you to your conference room where upon your arrival I will depart and the summit will begin."
As she finished speaking the extravagant double doors quietly swung open revealing the interior of the central lobby and the various individuals within, clad in suits that must have cost a fortune, strutted about or idly conversed about meaningless corporate jargon. Meanwhile those who had been going about their business on the streets around them had paused to look on in curiosity, with a few even whipping out compact cameras and beginning to take snapshots of the assembled foreign delegation. The assistant ignored it all, though whether that was because she was used to it or because she simply didn't care was impossible to discern. Those inside however looked up from their holograms, tablets and colleagues as they caught wind of the spawning commotion and most were quick to adjust themselves so that they had vanished from the view of those outside. Others however subtly adopted more photogenic posses and drew out or discreetly started to show off a variety of branded items ranging from holo-tablets to handbags and other miscellaneous items.
Heavy is the head that holds the crown. Or, in this case, purse.

And so the delegations went, getting the full tour of the С-Лatxoтyн Наnонаkл Central Tower and quite an expansive meeting afterwords. At the end of it the negotiations between the Altarians, Capulin and Lillian failed to really go anywhere truly profitable but as a parting gift S-L-N promised each of the delegations a small tanker loaded with ancerium. A move designed as much as a PR boost as well as an opportunity for the corporation to flaunt a little bit of their wealth. So as they all shook hands and made their way back down and out through the courtyard Delta gave the parties a polite bow and a friendly wave as they each accrued their own methods of transportation once again and subsequently departed, cameras flashing once more as eager journalists sought to catch each and every frame of the brief interaction for their own respective studios.
Afterwards Delta leaned down and duster her hands on her suit jacket before twirling around and marching back into the lobby but as she passed by one of the many waiting areas her optics caught sight of a rather unassuming human man in a charcoal black suit with a pink tie, military haircut and completely blacked-out pair of luxury sunglasses. She looked over and subtly nodded to one of the receptionists stood behind the desk who's eyes widened before they quickly moved towards the individual whilst Delta dissapeared behind the black marble sliding door of her own office.
She twirled around her desk before gently plopping down onto her chair, spinning it around so it was faced away from the door before crossing her legs and assuming a somewhat haughty pose. Not a minute later the door opened once more and the same receptionist briefly stepped inside her office before announcing "Ma'am. The Representative from the Potius Cras Corporation is here to see you now." She spun around slowly in her chair and nodded to the girl to send him in, who promptly did so with a gentle gesture to someone outside of her office.
The same man stepped inside and adjusted his tie whilst the receptionist ducked out, the door sliding shut with a quiet hiss behind her. Delta gestured to one of the chairs before her desk and the Representative quickly moved to take it, saying once he did so; "I trust you know what this meeting is about..?" Delta nodded and the Representative reached into his jacket and pulled out a small black folder, the Potius logo emblazoned in full colour on the top centre of it. The Representative laid it gently down onto the desk before pushing it forward, Delta leaned in and picked it up before flicking it open and carefully browsing the contents of it before her holographic eyes widened. She slowly closed the folder before gently placing it back down onto the desk and pushing it back towards him.
The two sat in silence for a second before Delta finally broke it and said in a mildly tense voice; "Promethean Flame... I never thought I'd live to see the day."
