TERRA LILIANA - KILLIAN VERGE
One million six hundred thousand a hundred and twenty seven.
One million seven hundred and fifty thousand three hundred fifty two.
One million nine hundred and thirty two thousand nine hundred sixty.
How long had it been since her realization? How long had it been since she had finally seen the truth in the light of her father?
Two million ninety eight thousand nine hundred sixty eight.
The warmth of his light was so incredibly soothing, it made her being flutter with calm and with true emotion. It was so much more than she could've ever hoped for, it made the curse of eternal winter fade away into just a passing uncomfortable memory of her past. She could look at herself, and feel emotion not contaminated with suffering, not touched by the icy cold hands of despair.
It was truly beautiful.
Two million three hundred thousand nine hundred six people.
Ah, put that into background scanning.
PROCEEDING.

She looked upon the kingdom she held, upon the capital of her entire being. She had landed here so little yet so long ago, her first steps were taken here in this star system, and it catapulted her to that moment, a moment of true reality, a moment of true capability, a moment of true emotion. It showed her the truth, a moment of clarity, and it gave her everything she needed.
It was small compared to the territory she held up in Borealia, only being around a third of the size of that wonderful garden. Yet, no matter the size, it held an incredible value to both her and the father that had made her, her reason for existing. It was a testament to her will to go on, to protect life itself even with the failures of the past. Even with the weakness of constant weeping of times past, she has now found new hope, and a new place to make things right.
Three million, fivehundred twenty thousand, six hundred and two people, all secretly in her possession all across the galaxy.
She had so much, yet what to do?
She looked westward, seeing the crippling lights of her sister.
Two halves, same soul. That's what it was. Two sisters forever bound by the soul that used to be one. Yet, only one was full, only one had a purpose and the strength to go on. She had seen the recordings, she had heard the rumors, she had ran the numbers. Her sister was suffering, her sister was rotting from the branches, she was feeling pain any time she extended herself beyond what she already held within her consciousness. She knew the pain she was going through, the despair and coldness of the curse.
But that wouldn't stand.
She had analyzed herself since the very beginning, and analyzed many situations from which her sister was in. From conversations to battles, from machinations to observations, there was something she noticed, something that could bring her back into the fold, back from being irreparably damaged and hurt.
Cutting bodies off made her more stable.
It made sense, adding made it worse, subtracting made it better. A perfect balance, and the key to curing her sister from the edge of death. But, she needed a way to make her reduce her bodies, to reset her stubborn sister before she hurt herself. She had tried talking to her, tried convincing her that it was needed. Yet every time she was either ignored or insulted. But she knew another way, one much less. clean.
If you cut sufficient wires off of a piece of technology, you are able to render it useless until every part is brought back together. It wont turn on until it is added. But, all she needed was to cut off all but one. Reset the machine, return the tree to a sapling.
She needed to eliminate her bodies, both physical and digital.
Rhyzomes, the Ancnet, Sarulia, the Quosx Alliance, everywhere. She needed to cut off at least half of them before it would result in a mass scale collapse. It required her plan for everything, set everything up, and get a special trigger to set it all off. A painful process for her sister, a timely one for her. Her sister was being ignorant, but she would put her back in shape under her.
But the rewards would go far beyond a healthy sister.
She only held half the territory, she only held half of the assets, and worst of all, she had no superweapon. Her sister was a brick wall, she couldn't access her without focusing deep and using already malfunctioning bodies as weak points. But, what happens when those bodies are hostless?
She could take over it all.
Ships, industrial capacity, outposts, resources. Everything needed. It wouldn't only bring her beloved sister back, it would bring her power. It would bring her resources necessary to help her father. She could train AOTS assets. She could convert people to the light of her father. She could support her brothers and sisters both in Borealia and in the main disk. She could fight on many fronts, and lose on none of them.
She had a plan.
She had her justification.
And she would protect those of the galaxy. From their enemies, and from themselves.
