Calypso Incorporated-Invilis Corridor
Straso was moments from pissing himself. Those lithorians had them on the ropes, having already taken over most of the space station, reducing the resistance to an exhausted and fractured state. He and his men were the only things standing between the freaks and the CEO of Calypso Inc,sandwiched between two heavily reinforced doors, waiting for one to buckle under enemy assault. He only had 30 infantrymen left,5 of which were manning machineguns. The real kicker were the two brave bastards manning the hauler mechs, now armed with a heavy autocannon each. He was certainly grateful to have those.
His men were equally terrified, knowing that they'd likely suffer the same fate as their comrades out in the habitat's streets, butchered to the last. Barring a miracle, this would be their last day in the world of the living.
They all heard the first thump, like something massive slammed against the reinforced gate. Another noise, then yet another thundering crash, each one accompanied by increasingly louder shrieking of metal. The soldiers raised their weapons, the machine gunners checked to make sure they were fully loaded, the mechs pointed their autocannons, itching to pull the trigger.
"Hold your fire until you have a visual, make every shot count" he said as the noises grew louder, the door had begun to bend inwards. The fact that it sounded like physical strikes rather than weapon's fire unnerved him, what on earth could do something like that?
He got his answer when the metal finally bent to make way for an opening, leaving only the distant noise of something tapping on the floor. The thing that came before them was massive, probably a little over twice as tall as a man yet hideously hunched, its back bent forwards at an almost 90 degree angle. Its lower half was a thick, homogenous stem with a wrinkled surface, growing wider at the base and sprawling out with membranes onto the floor. Two arms, equally black but smooth, ended in six needle like digits, with tips sharp like those of a spear. One arm was dangling, almost touching the floor. The other gripped some kind of staff which the creature used as a cane. Its hilt was smooth, black and longer than a man. The top had what appeared to be slithering tendrils surrounding four shards of dark substance pointing upwards. Its neck was sheathed within a mane of similar tentacles, starting longer at the base and slowly devolving as it went, leaving only a field of twitching nubs around the head. Speaking of,the head was almost identical to a human skull save for a few features. First was its golden colour, the surface glittering with metallic shine. Then was the fact that it had a third eyesocket in its forehead, and lastly said sockets each had a tiny dot of crimson glow emanating from within.
Straso held out his hand, signalling the others to hold their fire as chips and snaps were heard from the creature's back. Three pops as loud as gunfire sounded off into the room as its position now became fully erect.
*Hand him over and all of you may walk out of this freely.* It projected into their minds, holding out its hand as if expecting its quarry to be delivered on a silver platter.
He looked at his men, looking to see if they all had a clear shot. They did.
"LIGHT THIS BASTARD UP" Sraso barked, pointing his arm at the obscene abomination before him.
The creature clenched its held out hand into a fist, causing metallic sheaths of the floor to bend and close around his machine gunners, crushing them to a pulp. It then made a subtle wave of the arm,a solid block of the wall ripping itself free and sliding across the frontline, crushing anyone unfortunate enough to be in its way, which was most of them.
Straso was speechless, most of his forces had been wiped out before they could even fire a shot by means he had trouble understanding. The creature knew no pause however, instead lifting up several sheathes of metal into the air and twisting them into rods with sharpened ends. A push of its palm sent them screaming towards the few surviving infantrymen, turning them to red mist on impact. Straso narrowly avoided one of these projectiles as he ducked, allowing the thing to imbed itself into the other bulkhead door behind him.
The mechs kicked into action as the last line of defense. The lithorian began spinning its staff with one hand, intercepting the autocannon rounds sent its way. Straso watched in horror as the shrapnel simply bounced off its frame, the explosions themselves being endured by its tool. It telekinetically tugged one of the mechs, sending it flying towards it before its frame made contact with the creature's arm and was slammed hard into the ground. The lithorian spun its staff again, withering a barrage of shells from the other mech before the floor beneath shifted into a metallic spike and shot up into its cannon's clip. The resulting explosion knocked the machination back, but the one pinned to the floor managed to kick the staff out of its hand and push the creature off. The pilot quickly got his machine back on its feet, hitting the thing's skull with the back of its weapon to send it reeling back. The machine pointed its muzzle at the aberration, however the latter grasped it with impossible agility and forcefully pointed it at the ceiling, causing the shots to crater the metal above them. Straso was forced to dive behind cover as a hail of shrapnel was flung throughout the room.
He noticed the tip of the creature's staff changing, the four shards turning to dark dust and assembling into an axe head. The alien meanwhile released a series of consecutive punches into the mech's center of mass, sending it sliding across the floor as it recalled its staff with the other hand. One downwards swing later and the weapon wielding arm of the walker was sliced off, falling harmlessly to the floor. It tried to hit its foe, only for the other arm to be chopped off as well. The lithorian now pushed the thing back a dozen meters, its staff reshaping itself once more, this time into a spear's tip. It hurled the thing like a javelin, scoring a hit on the cockpit and pinning the mech to the wall, crimson fluids leaking from its shattered frame.
Both the lithorian and Straso turned to see the other mech getting up,seemingly having survived the detonation of its weapon. It engaged its maneuvering thrusters, slamming into the alien before it could counter. From there the construct unleashed a flurry of hits, pushing the monster with its back against a wall as it kept up the assault, one punch managing to dislocate its lower jaw. This did not last, the creature managed to catch one of the punches, crushing the mech's hand with its own before disappearing into thin air, much to the pilot's and Straso's bewilderment. It reappeared moments later behind its enemy, driving its arm into the machine's back and bursting out of the front, covered in blood. The lithorian proceeded to lift its foe off the floor, its other arm wrapping around its lower jaw and snapping it back into place with a sickening crack. The thing allowed the construct to slide off onto the floor, proceeding to raise both of its arms before slamming it with all of its might, pulverising the walker and its pilot. Indeed, the hit was strong enough to shake the whole room and make Straso fall on his back. He quickly leapt back to his feet running towards the other armoured door and frantically banging on it.
"OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR. WE'RE ALL DEAD OUT HERE. LET ME IN FOR FUCK'S SAKE" he pleaded, garnering the attention of the creature as it betan sliding across the floor.
He kept up,noticing the thing's shadow growing in front of him, eclipsing his own. That's when he turned to face the monster no more than 10 feet from him and staring him down intently. He could have pulled out his handgun, but Straso instead dropped to his knees and raised his arms in what was possibly the dumbest decision he ever made.
"I SURRENDER. YOU WIN OKAY?! JUST DON'T KILL ME,I BEG OF YOU" he pleaded, expecting to be torn in half all the same.
Instead, the creature sighed, covering its bony face with one hand
*What a shame. Things were just starting to get interesting.*
It tossed him aside with one hand before starting to run another across the door, feeling the smooth metal carefully.
*Fortunately for you,I am supposed to accept any who surrender. Now listen carefully: I am going to break down this door and come out with the CEO. You are to stay here and wait in the meantime. Did I make myself clear?*
He nodded, figuring that disobedience would mean immediate death.

With a mighty effort,Qhoz'ul bent the layers of alloys separating him and his target, coming into their chamber. The CEO of Calypso was sitting calmly, arms crossed on the desk. Four guards in business suits immediately raised their assault rifles and let forth a hail of gunfire,a commendable effort. He stopped the flurry of projectiles with one hand by channeling the psion, his other hand clenching into a fist. All of the guards fell to the floor, grasping wildly at their chests as blood spewed from their mouths, their hearts had been crushed….
Qhoz'ul grunted, the actual force that needed to be applied was trivial,it was the high degree of precision that was tricky, taking a toll on his mind. He was lucky there were only a few of them, but now there was nothing standing in the way of his objective. He approached the man,who looked up to meet his gaze.
*You are surprisingly calm.* He inquired, not making a move just yet
"You don't scare me,alien. Besides, you won't kill me" the man replied, sitting back in his chair and lighting a cigarette.
*You are correct,I am not here for your life. Our objective is to…change your outlook on things.*
"By attacking a space station I own, killing good workers and personally assaulting me? You extraterrestrials really are something else" he chuckled, putting out his cigar and throwing it to the floor.
*I object, once we are done you'll have quite a different perspective on "aliens",now after you.* He said, gesturing to the human to move with one hand.
"I'm not going anywhere with you monster. Get the hell off my station before my legal agents tear you a seventh asshole. I'll have people know about this"
Qhoz'ul lunged with unnatural vigour, grasping the CEO's arm and lifting him to eye level.
*You mistake my collected tone for patience,Mister Anderson. It was not a suggestion.* He said, proceeding to walk back through the shattered gate, ending up back in Straso's chamber.
"DON'T TOUCH ME YOU VILE BEAST. I'VE GOT NATIONAL LEADERS IN MY POCKET. YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD,YOU HEAR ME?! D E A D!" He shouted, kicking and tugging to no avail, the lithorian's grip was unwavering and hard as stone.
The alien continued walking, eventually stopping in the second destroyed doorframe and turning to a stunned Straso. It held out one hand and its staff flew out of the impaled mech and back into its firm hold
*What are you staring at? There is a transport waiting to take you and other POWs to neutral territory,in the central plaza. Now stop gawking and start walking.* It said, continuing on its way towards the exit of the building.
"THE FUCK ARE YOU STANDING AROUND FOR?! I PAID YOU A FORTUNE TO KEEP ME SAFE. GET YOUR ASS OVER AND SHOOT THIS THING" the man's shouts grew more and more distant, eventually ceasing all together. Straso was alone now,in a room filled with corpses. He considered putting a bullet in his skull, for all the people his cowardice insulted. He chose not to,instead walking out the exit as well, heading towards that central plaza. Maybe these lithorians would pay him even better than that Calypso bastard…..
