"Where is Blue?" Asked Vice President Jalaja after she started to put on her extra white shirt after spending the night with the President. "I thought she would still be around. I checked her monitor and she's in the---"
The President simply responded as he put on his own jacket after placing his own shirt on "She's in the library. Don't disturb her, Jal, she's really going to need the time she has now that she's awake. At least she had a good time with that boy she had a crush on."
It made her smile as she got up from their resting place. A simple but elegant wooden bed frame with a beautifully made mattress and gorgeous sheets made out of alpaca wool. Jal said "True. I admire the fact that we have an admiral that could make our relationship with the Dectrose even more fruit-"
"I'm afraid we can't continue it."
"What?" She sat down again and delayed putting her shorts back on. They were coming back from another retreat out of the capital, after a long week spent dealing with lower politicians and the damned motherfucker who calls himself "King of Kings" over all the planets. A strange officer but efficient and therefore necessary. Jal just shook her head as she continued "Why not?"
The President quietly said as he secured his pants "It's not something we can talk about while we are still here. Listen, we'll talk about it when we are in the capital once more. And where nobody will listen to us." He nodded to a closet nearby. "I found a bug there."
Jal blinked. Then as fast as lightning, she had her hand pointed at the closet, opening it with the force of her magic, which caused her hand to glow brightly with the colors of her own skin and eyes. She then approached it and found a tiny little listening bug attached securely to the closet, hidden by hangers and hanging clothes of their own.
Jal turned to him and he only said "We have to leave. And talk about it there. And don't worry, I had the Legionnaires arrest the bastards. Two women and three men. They're from the Federal Party of Alondra."

Blue yawned the hundredth time as she went over the big books of law and order of the UWA. Beside the stack of books to her right was her own work on the reforms. She had spent three hours working on it and have gone through much paper as seen by the dozen disposable neo-plastic bags close by her feet. She was swaying them idly as she sat on her favorite high chair in the library. She never noticed the hands of Jal resting on her shoulders, causing her to shiver and freeze until Jal said
"Relax. You need to take a break."
She obeyed, getting off the chair but woozily maintaining her balance. Her hair was not looking good, her eyes were heavy and her hands were shaking, her pen between her fingers struggling to remain in her hold. Jal helped her to a cup of tea which calmed her down a little and to some words "All right, listen, I'll go and continue this and you go and take a break. Sit with me."
And she did. But as she sat with her, Jal now taking the high chair, Blue advised her
"You may have to consider this game, Jala." She leaned closer to her as Jal smiled at her and returned to work "The TDA and the Dectrose do not consider each other as friends as they were before. Neither do the Dectrose seem all right with other factions. We have to be careful about the secret clause. In fact...I strongly suggest we do not include it anymore. And on the other hand, we really should focus on rehabilitation and reconstruction more than the rest of the galaxy, we are not fit enough to do anything of great significance towards or against other factions unless they are newer and weaker than us. And even if they are, we are not in any good position yet. We are still a young one, a growing one."
She paused to get closer and whisper
"There's so much to worry about, Jala, but of all the things we must worry about outside of our own faction, it's the Dectrose and the TDA. We must choose one or the other." She paused one more time to look at her face. Jal seemed....dejected. She realized it. "He told you, did he not?" "He did. But he'll talk to us more when we go home." Blue nodded and then whispered in the end "At least you will worry about the how-to of getting the message across to our peoples that we are getting new people."
