Once things where settled down, and the people in charge of quarantining the mess that Uproth had become had done their part, Daedalus Research Institute had to relocate, reassign and find a new home for those that had worked in the facility. Onboard the former Uproth DRI Fleet Flagship, 'Resolute', Head Administrator Vi-Jon and Administrator Dolun both awaited on word from the board, to know where exactly they would be sent to. Vi-jon was quite nervous, he had screwed up several times now, and knowing the board, they might ship him off towards some barren pit to study rocks for the rest of his life. Dolun fared no better, allowing the Mantis to be captured, and used against the Uproth Facility was likely a black smear on his otherwise clean record.
Before long, orders filtered down from those higher on the bird stand, and most where being relocated to the new AI Facility on a newly discovered planet, Aomas. With many cave systems under the jungle canopy, it would be an improvement over Uproth's facilities. Some where assigned to other facilities like Frumentarii, Raikon and Temas. Reading down the list of names, most of the researchers where either pleasantly relieved, or nervous about their relocations and new assignments. Vi-Jon and Dolun's names, however, where not present, along with several dozen others, including that of Dolun's Assistant, Lanai.
It wasn't long before encrypted communications where tightbeamed to the ship, and those names not accounted for where given their relocations and assignments. Vi-Jon, six of his closest aides, and Dolun, where temporarily relocated to Gizli, quoting their "Experience in specific nation's vessels and their crews". Lanai, and most of the rest where reassigned to Ruhig, where Lanai would become an Administrator. Of course, DRI also encouraged those involved directly in the incident on Uproth to approach the media, and appear on the DGN regarding the attack. Which several heeded, with the accounts being aired later that day.
What was also aired, was news of backscatter that had been captured by an as-of-yet unnamed neutral faction and DGN vessels by the BSO's 'Lethalon Fairwind'. The article shed some light on some of the conversation that had been cleaned up thus far, with a promise to release the full backscatter once the operation had finished and the full conversation was available. What happened to Uproth, in the eyes of the Institute, was a major setback on some of their major projects, but with the backup data stored on Daedalus proper, it was only time lost, and recent updates that had been permanently lost. Full priority was placed on the Mantis IV programs, and the new Technomancer project designed to help the Dectrose with their ailments in recent events.
