Current banner of the Free Worlds, a loose collection of colonies and settlements in the Fire-Star March arbitrarily north of the RSC and UGE. A communal, all-hands-on-deck-when-needed defensive and trade alliance, the Free Worlds may appear a chaotic, squabbling mess to outsiders when the reality could not be farther from this. United in their purpose of survival and making honest lives in the Fire-Star March, the Free Worlds get along in a sort of frontier, sibling like 'push-me-pull-you' way. This seems chaotic, but the Free Worlders make it work-- somehow. On the subject of their flag, (Created after long debate and way too much beer one day in 2310,) the banner represents the Free Worlds as a whole, and accurately portrays their determined spirit despite it's simplicity. The eight white dots represent the first eight worlds settled by colonists seeking to escape the Terran-Restevian War in the 2200s, while the stars represent every star system in which the Free Worlds now have a colony. The large white circle represents their unity in the face of adversity (despite how disparate they appear,) and the lines depict their progress moving forward.
