The drifting frigate showed little signs of life, having had its blade-like prow seemingly torn open by some massive saw. The vessel slowly rotated in the empty void, surrounded by scraps of itself as well as wasted munitions. House of Wrath sigils decorated its hilt-like engine, denoting it as once belonging to a larger contingent, though it had clearly been left behind. Perhaps an ambush, perhaps the aftermath of pursuit, it was not clear.
Not at was how it seemed however, as even in this dying moment of suspension, the faintest of signals began to emit from, within. A final gambit. A desperate cry for help.

Orbitrarum had as objective to discover new empires and new civilizations as the Orbitrarum people was arrived 7 years ago in Ancerious Orbitrarum then abandoned their isolationist stance and then sent several exploration ships to explore every corner of Ancerious or try to explore, recently Orbitrarum made contact with the Capitol Republic and also made contact with a faction that intends to restore the Empire of Capitol known as Freikorps Herakles, all thanks to Captain Ernest Advarin. After returning to the imperial capital Orbitrarum, Ernest was then sent on another exploration mission this time being sent to a part of the galaxy that was not so far away called Zone 41 (or Tradex Reach)
A small subspace portal with a strong blue glow then opens in the system where that frigate would be, and then a not very large ship with a length of 1km exits the portal having a black colour with various golden ornaments around the hull, any ship or station that was in that system could detect the ship for a few seconds since the portal through which it left released a large amount of tachyons

"Greetings, we come in peace, my name is Ernest Advarin I am the captain of the exploration vessel HIMS Eracleya I speak for my motherland the Empire of Orbitrarum and Emperor Lucios Leonid. We are on a 7-year mission to discover new species and civilizations, could you identify yourself?"

As the Orbitrarum vessel entered the system, it was met with very bleak surroundings. The wreckage from the larger vessel churned around them, silhouetted by a distant star. Wisps of purplish smog drifted around the vessel, giving the marooned vessel a sense of mystery, as if it was obscured roaming fog.
The drifting frigate was mute for several long seconds, before a haggard voice broke the silence.
-/-RAH--This is Vollas Kalasys of House Wrath. I am what remains of the leadership aboard the 'Unrelenting'. We have many injured aboard and request an immediate rescue--GAH. Please confirm!-/-
While officers and Captain Ernest Advarin listened to the transmission that came from Unrelenting There was silence on the HIMS Eracleya bridge even though Unrelenting was damaged HIMS Eracleya officers believed it could be a pirate trap or something like that
In the bridge
Captain Ernest Advarin
"Hmm looks like there are survivors aboard, attention crew let's not lower your guard, maximum power on shields and disruptors shoot any hostile ship that enters this system"
The ship's shields were activated at maximum power after which the captain responded to the transmission that came from Unrelenting again.
Transmission
"Okay we'll try to help them but could you tell me what happened here? your ship is badly damaged, could you tell me who you were attacked by?"
Again, the silence was broken by the same Echotian voice, as Kalasys responded as best he could.
-/-Unknown forces. We had been tracking a sect of pirates, though we do not believe them to be the perpetrators. They were able to take our engines offline as our fleet made for a retreat, leaving us stranded.-/-
Kalasys stopped his transmission to cough violently, his own blood staining his teeth and throat.
-/-There is a docking bay in the lower decks. I will do what I can to ensure it is--RHA-- available for your arrival.-/-
Sure enough, the sliding doors of a fighter bay cautiously yawned open, providing enough space for several small vessels to dock within.
Captain Ernest Advarin
"Hmmm okay, alright we are on the way..."

Captain Ernest Advarin
"Attention crew I will personally go to this mission together with the Assault Team First Officer Anthonius you will be in charge of commanding the ship while I am away, in case the assault team and I do not return you are authorised to leave."
First officer Anthonius
"Yes sir, be careful captain and that the spirit of Eracleya is with us."
After that the captain heads to the HIMS Eracleya hangar where he was waiting for 15 marines equipped and ready to carry out the mission, Captain Ernest was not unprepared as well as Marines Ernest equipped itself with your power armour. After that the captain and marines enter in a 25 meter long troop transport shuttle then exit the HIMS Eracleya hangar and head to the Unrelenting hangar mentioned by the mysterious being called Vollas Kalasys. After that the small ship lands in the Unrelenting hangar....
As the transport passed through the hangar's atmospheric barrier, it became even more clear the state of the Unrelenting. Wolfpack fighter craft lay in ruin on the far-side, as if they had been knocked free of their confinements and toppled to the one side of the hangar. Bodies of Echotian crew littered the debris, choking the wreckage in their blood.
The air hung with a strange purplish haze, not unlike that which clung to the outside of the ship. Residue of some kind perhaps, though it was not immediately clear. Though there was no obvious movement or signs of life within the hangar, the muffled sounds of shouting could be heard from beyond the nearest set of doors to the transport.
The sudden locking sound of the hangar door jolted through the hangar, sealing the room off from the void beyond.
After that Captain Ernest Advarin and his team descended from the small ship their armors were equipped with a life support system so that purple mist would not be a big problem for the captain and his team if the mist was toxic...
One of the Orbitritam soldiers who was a field medic activated his scanner in order to try to analyze that purple mist. After that, the same doctor went to one of the bodies that was near the shuttle to decipher the reason for his death
The Medic
"Well yeah they are certainly not human..."
Not human indeed.
The four-armed corpses in the hangar lay strewn about, twisted and burned from the wreck of the vessel. Those that had lost their helmets displayed four-eyed faces with box-like snouts and a black shock of braided hair.
Scans of the mist would reveal it to be engine residuum, likely from a malfunction of the FTL drives, though it was not entirely clear as to why it remained within the vessel. It clung to the floors and choked the air, giving the darkened interior of the hangar a haunting look.
The noise from beyond the far doors grew suddenly, as something crashed against them on the other side.
After that the data collected from the corpses and the purple haze were sent to the HIMS Eracleya database all the assault team hear that strange metal noise crashing against the other side of the door the team stood firm, marines will then take positions as far away as possible from the door whatever is on the other side was not considered friendly by the assault team members.
After this the Captain Ernest Advarin sends a transmission to Vollas Kalasys to request assistance...
Transmission
"Vollas Kalasys its me Captain Ernest Advarin are you listening? We're already in the ship's hangar could tell you where you are and by the way there's something strange inside your ship and this thing didn't like our presence..."
The response came almost immediately, though the Vollas sounded more haggard than he had before.
-/-Vos'Advarin, I am located on the command bridge. I have sent two of my knights to rendezvous at your location. Surely they have arrived by now?-/-
Another slam on the door was followed by an unearthly howl; one of pain, and confusion, but also of rage. There was a pause as the sound carried through the room before falling silent.
-/-I am afraid I do not know what lies between us, Vos'Advarin. Much was damaged in the attack, including most of our radar systems. I can guide you to the bridge, but beyond that...-/-
There was a moment of dread that crept into Kalasys' voice, though he tried to hide it as best he could.
-/-I will not ask you to risk your life against this threat, Vos'Advarin.-/-
When the thing on the other side of the door started to howl, the assault team's legionnaires held their ground again and then aimed their guns toward the door, it didn't really matter if that thing on the other side of the door managed to enter into the hangar. She would be greeted not by a friendly hello but by a firing barrage, and well orbitritans usually shoot first and ask questions later.
While Captain Ernest Advarin seriously listened to Vollas Kalasys' response, the Captain then asks:
Captain Ernest Advarin
"Well if I can get you and your people out of this pile of twisted metal that was your ship, I have a lot of questions to ask. This is starting to get weird. I know this is not a good time to ask but how did you guys get here? and is there also any other way to get to the bridge?"
The voice of Kalasys was lost in the noise from beyond, as the metal doors from across the hangar were suddenly forced open by animalistic, metal claws. The shape of an Echo, though robbed of all composure, tore into the room with alarming speed. Its armour was bent and burnt, torn open across the chest by a decisive slash, though not deep enough it would seem to have injured the creature. A red sash wrapped across its shoulders, trailing behind the sprinting creature like a stream of hot blood.
The opening shots from the Orbitritans tore into the Echotian, though only through its incredible speed was it able to cross the small distance into cover before being torn to ribbons by the boarding party. Excited cackling filled the room, followed by imitations of screams. Haunting in their nature, they choked the room with the sickening sounds of blood-curdling wails.
The Echo stalked low behind a ruined wolfpack, sprawling low on four limbs, two small blades clutched close to its body with the fifth and sixth.
"MAL' THRALL! SHAL'KES VAK'DAN!"
And really as soon as that demonic creature managed to break down the hangar door it was met by firestorm from the legionnaires Orbritritans the legionnaires will use their plasma Assault rifles to deter that scary creature. The Orbritritan legionnaires heard those noises and screams that were at least frightening but they weren't afraid. One step in Orbritritan warrior training was to face fear at all costs...
The legionnaire that was closest to the creature then uses their melee weapons which would be a long shield that covered much of the legionary's body and an energy sword or plasma sword, the sword glowed with a white light that could cut metal with ease. The Soldier then yelled at the creature: Face me creature!!
While Captain Ernest shot the creature he then tries again to talk to Kalasys, the captain says:
Captain Ernest Advarin
"HEY Kalasys are you listening??? how the hell do you let this thing be enter on your ship??"
As the weapons were drawn, a low cackling echoed through the room. The creature stood up on its hind legs, its full height reaching around 6 feet, before hurtling towards the boarding party with reckless abandon. Its helmeted head portrayed no emotion, though its amplified howls of agony were suddenly deafening as it sprinted headlong at the legionnaire. Its two blades in its hands poised ready to attack, looking to close the distance with the shielded opponent to take advantage of its shorter reach.
The legionnaire closest to the sword-drawing creature and calling the creature into combat was equipped with power armour and used a powered exoskeleton system, this mobile machine consisting mainly of a structure similar to an insect exoskeleton they were designed to physically assist and, in many cases, protect the user to assist during combat primarily to deflect melee combat, in addition, this energized exoskeleton increases strength and provides a cybernetic link that enhances the user's bodily reflexes and reactions...
The legionaries that were furthest away stopped shooting for a few seconds so as not to hit their brother. So the same legionnaire that was going to be attacked by the creature had quick reflexes thanks to the exoskeleton that improved its reflexes. The legionnaire then makes a quick jump to the right side, managing to dodge that creature's charged attack.
The Echo was not deterred, using the break in the formation to lunge past the legionnaire, stabbing and slashing at the nearby Orbitritans. Its movements were ragged, and almost desperate, throwing every swing with as much strength as it could. Its Helm could be seen between the rapid swing of its swords, the bottom half having been nearly torn entirely from its head. Crimson sprayed from its mouth as it roared in anger, painting those nearby in a spray of oxygen rich blood.
Kalasys responded, though his tone suggested he was still unaware of the threat.
-/-Vos'Advarin, the hangar has a secondary exit sternside, though it will only-/-
The message stopped suddenly before another continued.
-/-It will only lead your team further from the bridge. Take it if you must, but please hurry.-/-
Two of the legionaries that were 3 meters away from the creature were wounded, but thanks to their armour they provided good protection with melee attacks. The Legionnaire that managed to dodge that creature's first attack then took a second jump towards the creature, its movement speed was absurd for a human, its jump made it go behind the creature's back, the legionary then landed a attack with your plasma sword in the creature's back slashing its flesh. Even hitting an attack on the creature proved to be a very dangerous and strong enemy and surely even if hit by a blow, he would keep fighting...
Then Ernest Advarin, the doctor and two other legionaries ran towards the door that Kalasys referred to they then left the hangar through that door then the captain sends a transmission to request Kalasys' assistance on how to get to the ship's bridge
Captain Ernest Advarin
"Hey Kalasys are you listening? We're hurry up but there's a monstrous creature in your ship, we went to the exit you said how did we get to this bridge?"
The smell of seared flesh filled the space as the Echo fried beneath the plasma weapon, a horrid screech of pain cutting short as it turned to face its attacker. It splayed its limbs wide, a challenge to whoever would be brave enough to strike at it next.
With the creature distracted momentarily, the departure of Erenest and his entourage was unimpeded. A response came swiftly, unimpeded by the noise of the hangar.
-/-Emergency power should be activated any minute now, Advarin. Once it is restored, I'll be able to direct you more effectively. Hold fast.-/-
Soon enough, a small glow began to emanate from the ceiling, casting the hallways beyond in a low light. A nearby series of nodes began to glow softly, pulsating along the wall, signaling a direction that continued further down the hall and onwards towards wherever they were being led.
An uneasy feeling seemed to choke the halls, as if they were being watched from beyond the solid surfaces. A voice seemed to whisper to the Orbitritans, though not in any language they could understand.
The squad would make their way through a series of corridors and lengthy service tunnels before finally reaching the bridge, finding a weakened, but wholly alive Kalasys. The whispers continued, but would fade over the course of several more uneasy hours until a rescue vessel arrived to take the injured Echotians off the Orbitritan's hands. The larger Echotian vessel was able to dock the limping vessel, safely taking it into the protective embrace of its hangar.
As the Orbitritan's ship departed, something stirred within the void. Multi-faceted eyes watched as its quarry slowly dragged itself within the larger ship as psionic waves of curiosity washed over what still remained in the empty space.
The being would watch until all was finished and gone, before turning and propelling itself through the void, its test completed, but its desire for violence still lingered.
"In due time." The voice from without spoke again. "In due time."
Not at was how it seemed however, as even in this dying moment of suspension, the faintest of signals began to emit from, within. A final gambit. A desperate cry for help.
