Kinetic Weapons

While the energy needed to operate this variant of Gaussian weapons is higher than an Iron-Cored system, the Air-Cored variant allows for much higher velocity, meaning deeper penetrative values while maintaining a shorter overall system.
Helical Railguns:
The Helical Railgun is used on all 'long barrel' Firearms, allowing the system to have the power of a Railgun while using the energy of a coilgun. This hybrid serves well as a standard weapon of the infantry forces.
Hypervelocity Guided Railguns:
The introduction of Ferromagnetic materials has allowed the increase of magnetic flux to augment the force that the Railgun can put out it's projectiles. This type of weapon system is used on starships. Recently, guidance computers where added to compensate for the distances that firefights in space happen.

Hypersonic Missiles:
Aimed at reducing the reaction time of enemy systems, the Hypersonic Missiles can operate at around Mach 20 once fully up to speed, thanks to their fusion torches and are equipped with limited amounts of Dispenser Systems for a defense system when in the terminal phase. These missiles use either visual targeting, laser guidance, sensor guided or many other forms of guidance to lock and reach their target.
Metastable Metallic Hydrogen Warheads:
Metallic Hydrogen is stored in High Explosive warheads, and used sparingly, as the warhead itself is much more suited to planetary combat or as a means to fend off fighters.
Softkill Missile Warheads:
Using a Photonic or Electromagnetic waves released when the missile enters the desired distance, the warhead aims to disable enemy sensors, electronics and systems reliant on electronics.
Dispenser Warheads:
Multi-purpose in nature, these warheads are packed with dispenser systems, able to drop smoke on an enemy to blind them, intercept enemy missiles, launch flares to try to distract guided missiles and more.

Blanket Interdiction:
Equipped on Interdiction ships, this interdiction encompasses .5 AU to 2 AU around the origin, and prevents all ships in the area from using FTL technology.

Metastable Metallic Hydrogen:
A fuel that burns at far greater efficiency than liquid H2/O2, Metallic Hydrogen is used in retrojets and stabilizer jets in order for fighters, shuttles and other small vessels to perform remarkably.
Cold Fusion:
Powering a vessel with Cold Fusion negates many risks involving regular Nuclear Fusion, such as a lower operating temperature and safer operation. This is also used in many modern civilian vessels and vehicles.
Muon-Catalyzed Cold Fusion (MCCF):
Utilizing the power of Muons together to create more powerful cold fusion, the temperature is lower, and the radiation effects from such are much lower. These are a staple on all current military vessels and vehicles.
MicroMCCF Reactors:
Used on new power armor, the MicroMCCF Reactors allow the soldier to have enough power to remain operational during extended periods and remain relatively safe, while opening up uses for personal shields and other large power draw equipment.

Aluminium plates are underneath, protecting further from extreme temperatures and resisting corrosive weapons. Finally, Rolled Tungsten is the last protective layer of the Kaburgon Composite Armor. Recent additions also added Nanites to actively move between layers of the armor, allowing small amounts of self-repair.
Composite Lightweight Adaptable Reactive Armor:
A sheet of Carbon Nanothreads and Low Energy Explosive Material formed into a reactive composite armor to provide protection against artillery, anti-tank missiles, chemical and kinetic penetrator ammunition and other threats, while minimizing risks to surrounding infantry by eliminating fragmentation.
Infantry Composite Power Armor:
With Heimdall's research into superceramics dipped in nanoengineered polymers, several leaps into advanced damage protection where made. Aerogel Composites where then added under the topmost layer of armor to defeat both lasers and kinetics. A thin layer of aluminum plating is used to defend against chemicals or corrosive weapons, and if the enemy weapon can pierce through these layers, there is the final layer of Carbon Nanothread Weave to serve as a buffering point between the Raikon Armor, and the Body Armor. Carbon Nanothread Body Armor:
While used as a supplement to the standard Infantry Power Armor, this is situated under the main armor, and above the thermal suit has plates of Carbon Nanothreads to further protect the wearer from enemy weaponry.
Mosaic Transparent Armor:
Used to protect the RAVD nodes on armored vessels and infantry armor, these help to both reduce cost of replacing damaged modules and to protect the nodes more efficiently than previous designs.
Faraday Netting:
Plastered over the Kaburgon Armor, and under the paint, Faraday netting over the vehicle and critical systems helps protect the vehicle from EMPs and other disabling effects from such.
Ceramic Ball Armor:
Used to defend foxholes or FOBs on a planet, CBA's are over-pressurized plates of armor filled with ceramic balls in order to defeat small and large caliber conventional ballistics, with varying thicknesses, it can also defend against shrapnel, minor explosives, advanced munitions, some energy weapons and up to Gauss and Railgun ammunition.

Directional Cyclonic/Harmonic Shielding:
Unlike traditional shields which usually stop linear forces, cyclonic shields violently slap aside the force and in effect redirect the force into a new direction away from friendly forces. Harmonics are introduced to shift the shield into a more traditional layout to defend against energy weapons that have no force to redirect, as well as direct the most shielding to incoming fire.

Multi-Spectrum/Multi-Sensor Suite:
Utilizing the best in sensor technology, the suites use multiple spectrums of visible and non-visible light, as well as a multitude of sensors further explained in the 'Sensors' section.
Multi-Spectrum/Multi-Sensor Receiving/Triangulation Suite:
Instead of using sensors to see, these suites detect incoming sensors passively and utilizes the information to triangulate its source, once found and identified, the information is added to the user's Database, to compile tactical information on foreign ship layouts.

Allowing point-to-point communications, the QEC is mostly used amongst ships in close proximity while being difficult to block or intercept, while some longer-distance QECs are installed on ship classes of Destroyers and larger. Contract Agent's ships also have long-range QECs for their specialized purpose.
Tachyonic Communications:
Used in long-range transmissions from remote locations, while there is a delay in time from sender to receiver, the communication moves faster than light.
Dynamic Phased Array:
This type of Phased Array does not require physical movement of the antennae, instead moving the beams electronically, being able to adjust the beams in an omnidirectional setting or pencil beam application, to fluidly adjust to changing circumstances that may occur in battle and under cyber-warfare attacks. It can also be used to track targets with it's pencil beams while still able to search for multiple other threats simultaneously.

Neutrino Bistatic Tripwire:
Using this method around planets, the Neutrino Bistatic Tripwire provides some early detection of stealth ships that are in orbit over a planet.
Neutrino Passive Sensors:
This type of sensor listens for emissions using Neutrinos, and while it don't work like RADAR whereas the sensors bounce off the target and return, the sensors can draw upon geoneutrinos from nearby planets in order to illuminate the target.
Magnetometric:
Using sensors tailored to detect magnetic forces produced by some components of a craft, the magnitude and direction of the magnetic fields would help detect ships that are attempting to remain in stealth.
LADAR:
As opposed to passive sensors that detect energy naturally emitted from an object, LADAR uses active sensors which emit their own energy source for illumination. The energy source hits objects and the reflected energy from the objects is detected and measured by sensors.
RADAR:
There is limited use of object-detection systems that use radio waves to determine the range, angle, or velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. With some alterations, the RADAR can operate on ultra low and ultra high frequencies.
Gravimetric:
Several sensors onboard spacecraft are able to detect and measure the direction and strength of gravitational fields, effectively detecting a craft's mass within short proximity of the sensors themselves.
Muon Active Scanning System:
The penetrative qualities of Muons over X-Rays has lead to the use of nanites, carrying miniaturized Muon scanners to assist the users to quickly and efficiently scan an entire craft, check it's cargo and it's hull to find any contraband or unwanted personnel.
Muon Scattering:
With the introduction of Muon scattering, both incoming and outgoing trajectories for each particle are reconstructed into three-dimensional images of the target, penetrating much more deeply than an X-Ray system and detecting possible nuclear-powered reactors, drives or weaponry.
Active X-Ray Scanning System:
By scanning over a ship with X-Rays, an internal view of a ship can be constructed, and investigated for any abnormalities that may be questionable.
Longitudinal Photonic Wave:
By utilizing specialized binary optics to enhance the photonic movement of a polarized Bessel–Gaussian beam, several of these systems can effectively create a wave of photons that can detect vibrations, rotations or low-frequency emissions in a particular direction.

IR Flares:
While primitive, some enemy sensors may still use infrared guidance systems. These flares however can alter the heat output they give off, and can also utilize a limited thruster to simulate flight by an aircraft, thus providing an appealing target to any infrared guided systems.
Chaff Screen:
Aiming to defeat simple RADAR-type guidance systems, the chaff is a combination of aluminum and Carbon Nanotube monomolecular wire embedded within transparent plastics to damage any impact-based missiles.
Smoke Screen:
Red Phosphorus along with aluminum-coated glass fibers help to conceal a craft from infrared sensors for a short period of time by masking the signature of the craft. Carbon Particles assist in defeating LADAR or laser sensors by simply absorbing the beam. Carbon Fibers also assist in defeating millimeter band sensors to deny optics systems based on the MMW system a clear line of sight.
Dispenser System (Hardkill/Softkill):
Active defense systems on most vehicles use a combination of an RAVD node, and several dispensers for different threats, these canisters are deployed against a threat, and depending on the threat, can defeat it with monomolecular wired steel pellets, a larger kinetic kill projectile, photonic wave emitter or an expanding list of other countermeasures that can save a vehicle from an attack.
Psionic

Intermediate Control (Bi'jorn):
Holding greater control than the Quinterrans, they are more able to lift heavier objects, create stronger barriers and use their telekinetic powers in a more controlled fashion. The Bi'jorn can operate as medics, construction, and more, as well as remotely operate certain machinery that they know the use of, and move heavy objects from afar, as well as throw such objects away without too much damage.
Intermediate Control (Quinterran):
Though weaker in the use of Psionics than the Bi'jorn, the Quinterrans are much more geared for defense, mental toughness and networking their minds together. With a solid mind meld and sufficient numbers, the Quinterrans can surpass the Bi'jorn in operational capabilities, and create barriers and use telekinesis to form more favorable conditions in combat, but are dedicated to using their powers defensively.
Genetic Psions:
All of the Psions in the Council are genetically born with the gift of Psionics, as of yet, the Dectrothians are not able to possess Psionics from their extreme augmentation. Itukizens do not possess Psionics, and those with them are viewed with such suspicion that they usually live solitary lives, or do not survive past their childhood.
Mind Melding/Networked Minds (Quinterran):
The Quinterran Race enjoys a light version of Connected Minds, being able to meld minds with other Quinterrans in order to pool their psionic abilities together. This increases their strength and their power over certain abilities. This also connects their minds in a way that they think in unison, able to share their experience with the other members of the mind meld. The use is limited in scope, being able to connect minds no more than several hundreds of kilometers, and requires several Quinterrans to initiate.
Risks involved with Psionics:
The risks involved with Psionics is simple, with all races originating from the Nova galaxy, the understanding is that the genes of those who originated from the home galaxy have a biofeedback reaction when accessing Psionics, taking bodily harm upon using the Psionic abilities they possess. This can range from a mild nosebleed or light hematoma, to broken bones, ruptured organs and death.

Lining the helmet with psionically infused Adamantium prevents psionic users from accessing the thoughts of an individual, as well as preventing the introduction of hallucinations or other debilitating effects.
Psionic Defense Nodes (Dampening Field):
Using networked Quinterrans or a Bi'jorn operator, the operators pool together their psionic energy in order to leech surrounding psionic energy then utilize it to prevent other's psionic usage in the localized area around the PDNs, this causes them harm over a long period of time, though specialized nanites are on standby to heal them, this acts similar to a Psionic Dampening Field.

Anti-Craft Missile Launcher System:
Able to use hypersonic missiles to defend it's position, the AMLS can act as a CIWS to ships and bases.
Gatling Railgun CIWS:
These can be equipped to a craft in order to act as a CIWS to destroy enemy craft entering it's effective range, or deny the enemy access to an area around the craft.
EW/EWDS

Multi-Spectrum Targeting Scrambler:
Upon detecting a guided threat, the scrambler locks onto, and uses EW Suites to detect the kind of threat it is, before attempting to disable it on multiple frequencies of the EM and visible spectrum. This can also be used to defeat enemy optics or communication systems that are reliant on such frequencies.
Encryption Systems:
While all Datalinks and Communications between military vessels are encrypted using Two Key Encryption, each message sent will generate new keys for every datalink transmission and communication. Redundant channels exist to ensure that is part of the system fails, the others can prioritize specific packets of data and slow other non-essential systems in exchange. The Network Topology for this type of application is Full Mesh Topology. Working alongside usual encryption systems, Active Defense Data Protection assists to make stealing, disrupting or destroying data much more difficult for an assailant, while Automated Incident Responses allow for the defenders to use less effort while adding to the work an attacker needs to perform.
OTP Encryption Keys:
As with typical encryption systems, High-level and important figures are given an OTP Encryption Key, to be used if traditional encryption is deemed untrustworthy or cracked by an enemy force. This key ensures that a unique, randomized key is available for use in order to ensure the most secrecy and a trustworthy line.
Mantis IV EW/EWDS AI:
A fully sentient AI designed from the minds of a Xeno Defector and the DRI, the Mantis IV is the latest design able to both exist as several hundred AIs within a ship's network, or as physical manifestations of Nanites, each ship housing several hundred thousand of these AIs, and having an additional force to call upon if the ship is boarded. These AIs can also engage in EW by creating viruses and worms unique to each Mantis IV, allowing any two viruses or worms to never be the same, aiding in a successful infestation of an enemy's systems. New advances also incorporate the use of Psi-Defense Nodes, allowing the Mantis IVs to defend against Psionic users.
ADVAI:
A Non-Sentient AI designed to assist pilots, tank crews and vehicles, as well as some heavy PA to control tasks like countermeasures, targeting and cyberwarfare. These AI's can utilize most of the EW/EWDS systems that the Mantis Program can, though cannot physically manifest itself or have Anti-Psion capabilities.
'Limbo' Fake Systems:
Designed to appear to the passing virus or worm as a legitimate system, the 'Limbo' EWDS is most potent against enemies that have not encountered it before, and thus it's effectiveness lessens with each occurrence. Once a virus or worm is inside, the system traps and either destroys or captures the invading virus or worm, allowing it to be investigated at a later point in time.
Honeypots/Honey Nets/Honey Farms:
The Daedalus utilize both Research Honeypots and High-Interaction Honeypots in order to sufficiently gather data that is valuable for further defense against black hat organizations that may try to attack, steal or destroy data in the Council's databanks. These also provide an alternate target, much like Limbo systems, only to where the system actively imitates other legitimate systems, and allows the attacker in to waste their efforts on a sufficient amount of services.
'Enigma III' Decryption/EW Platform:
Utilizing existing satellite coverage or orbiting spacecraft to give the platform GLONASS/GPS coverage, the Enigma III has an operating range of roughly 2-3 Miles, allowing it to remotely engage in EW or decryption. This platform also can block Wifi, Radio, GPS L1-L5, ISM, Lojack, GSM, 3-5G, Wimax signals incoming and outgoing, while being able to hijack the signal in order to assert control or to feed it misinformation.
Linguistics systems in the Enigma Platform allow it to rapidly translate xeno languages into General, and if there are unique characters, it will assign a special character to serve in place to better assist the program's work. Decryption can take some time, depending on the target's technology proficiency or their redundant systems, though with varying approaches from brute force, cold/warm reboot, Trojan and Tempest attacks, most of what is needed is processing power and time.

Serving to enhance the effectiveness of RAVD Nodes, the Vantablack can defeat LADAR easily, as well as reflecting the smallest amount of light back towards any optics that may be looking. It can be applied to nearly everything, vessels, space stations or fighters.
'Blood Diamond' Heat Diffusion Plates:
Utilizing advances in Heat Dissipation, as well as the acquisition of some interesting crystalline materials, DRI have developed a metamaterial crystal, enhanced with a layer of Carbon Nanothreads, the plates can be attached to heat-producing components of the hull, whisking away the heat, dispersing it throughout it's crystalline lattice, then transferred to the surface, where the Carbon Nanothreads disperse it further, effectively keeping the hull cool.
Lithium Pools/Collectors:
Using Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanotubes, Lithium is connected to various internal sources of unfavorable heat, and is then sent along to storage pools of Lithium, where the droplets are expelled from the vessel, cooling in space, before the collection ports at various points of the vessel gather as much as it can back, based on maneuvers and speed of the vessel.
'Nazar' Optically Controlled Paramagnetic Paint:
Utilized in nearly all military assets with an RAVD system installed, the Nazar System allows for polymer containing paramagnetic iron oxide particles to be subjected to a quick EM current which is applied to adjust the spacing of small crystals within the iron oxide particles, affecting it's ability to reflect light and change color. This allows for fluid changes in camouflage patterns to meet the surrounding area, as well as an infusion of carbon microfibers to limit the effectiveness of Thermal sights.

Each chip has a unique identification number associated with that person's augmentations and nanites, any attempts to spoof or launder the weapons usually results in a defunct and internally destroyed weapon if the ID Chip registers it's user as being expired. The use of Command Codes are secured at Command Centers for the distribution or scrapping of older models.
Micro/Nanodrones:
Seeing use with the rising amount of nanotechnology, these drones can easily gather intelligence while being mostly invisible to the naked eye, they are equipped with a built-in RAVD and communications equipment using miniaturization techniques.

A thin layer of aluminum plating is used to defend against chemicals or corrosive weapons, and if the enemy weapon can pierce through these layers, there is the final layer of Carbon Nanothread Weave to serve as a buffering point between the Raikon Armor, and the Body Armor. Recent additions also added Nanites to actively move between layers of the armor, allowing small amounts of self-repair.
Carbon Nanothread Body Armor:
While used as a supplement to the standard Infantry Power Armor, this is situated under the main armor, and above the thermal suit has plates of Carbon Nanothreads to further protect the wearer from enemy weaponry.
Mosaic Transparent Armor:
Used to protect the RAVD nodes on armored vessels and infantry armor, these help to both reduce cost of replacing damaged modules and to protect the nodes more efficiently than previous designs.
Faraday Netting:
Plastered over the Kaburgon Armor, and under the paint, Faraday netting over the vehicle and critical systems helps protect the vehicle from EMPs and other disabling effects from such.
Ceramic Ball Armor:
Used to defend foxholes or FOBs on a planet, CBA's are over-pressurized plates of armor filled with ceramic balls in order to defeat small and large caliber conventional ballistics, with varying thicknesses, it can also defend against shrapnel, minor explosives, advanced munitions, some energy weapons and up to Gauss and Railgun ammunition.

Directional Cyclonic/Harmonic Shielding:
Unlike traditional shields which usually stop linear forces, cyclonic shields violently slap aside the force and in effect redirect the force into a new direction away from friendly forces. This type of shield uses less power to simply redirect the force rather than halt a force, and allows for longer battlefield use. Harmonics are introduced to shift the shield into a more traditional layout to defend against energy weapons that have no force to redirect, as well as direct the most shielding to incoming fire.

Using several camera systems in one, AVDs have replaced traditional view ports and allowing the vehicle to have all-around armor while still being able to see outside the craft with the AVD. IFF is integrated to allow greater battlefield management via the connecting of the IDC system into the AVD.
Multi-Spectrum/Multi-Sensor Suite:
Utilizing the best in sensor technology, the suites use multiple spectrums of visible and non-visible light, as well as a multitude of sensors further explained in the 'Sensors' section.
Multi-Spectrum/Multi-Sensor Receiving/Triangulation Suite:
Instead of using sensors to see, these suites detect incoming sensors passively and utilizes the information to triangulate its source, once found and identified, the information is added to the user's Database, to compile tactical information on foreign ship layouts.

Quantum Entanglement Communicators:
Allowing point-to-point communications, the QEC is mostly used amongst ships in close proximity while being difficult to block or intercept, while some longer-distance QECs are installed on ship classes of Destroyers and larger. Contract Agent's ships also have long-range QECs for their specialized purpose.
Tachyonic Communications:
Used in long-range transmissions from remote locations, while there is a delay in time from sender to receiver, the communication moves faster than light.
Dynamic Phased Array:
This type of Phased Array does not require physical movement of the antennae, instead moving the beams electronically, being able to adjust the beams in an omnidirectional setting or pencil beam application, to fluidly adjust to changing circumstances that may occur in battle and under cyber-warfare attacks. It can also be used to track targets with it's pencil beams while still able to search for multiple other threats simultaneously.

Neutrino Bistatic Tripwire:
Using this method around planets, the Neutrino Bistatic Tripwire provides some early detection of stealth ships that are in orbit over a planet.
Neutrino Passive Sensors:
This type of sensor listens for emissions using Neutrinos, and while it don't work like RADAR whereas the sensors bounce off the target and return, the sensors can draw upon geoneutrinos from nearby planets in order to illuminate the target.
Magnetometric:
Using sensors tailored to detect magnetic forces produced by some components of a craft, the magnitude and direction of the magnetic fields would help detect ships that are attempting to remain in stealth.
LADAR:
As opposed to passive sensors that detect energy naturally emitted from an object, LADAR uses active sensors which emit their own energy source for illumination. The energy source hits objects and the reflected energy from the objects is detected and measured by sensors.
RADAR:
There is limited use of object-detection systems that use radio waves to determine the range, angle, or velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. With some alterations, the RADAR can operate on ultra low and ultra high frequencies.
Gravimetric:
Several sensors onboard spacecraft are able to detect and measure the direction and strength of gravitational fields, effectively detecting a craft's mass within short proximity of the sensors themselves.
Muon Active Scanning System:
The penetrative qualities of Muons over X-Rays has lead to the use of nanites, carrying miniaturized Muon scanners to assist the users to quickly and efficiently scan an entire craft, check it's cargo and it's hull to find any contraband or unwanted personnel.
Muon Scattering:
With the introduction of Muon scattering, both incoming and outgoing trajectories for each particle are reconstructed into three-dimensional images of the target, penetrating much more deeply than an X-Ray system and detecting possible nuclear-powered reactors, drives or weaponry.
Active X-Ray Scanning System:
By scanning over a ship with X-Rays, an internal view of a ship can be constructed, and investigated for any abnormalities that may be questionable.
Longitudinal Photonic Wave:
By utilizing specialized binary optics to enhance the photonic movement of a polarized Bessel–Gaussian beam, several of these systems can effectively create a wave of photons that can detect vibrations, rotations or low-frequency emissions in a particular direction.

IR Flares:
While primitive, some enemy sensors may still use infrared guidance systems. These flares however can alter the heat output they give off, and can also utilize a limited thruster to simulate flight by an aircraft, thus providing an appealing target to any infrared guided systems.
Chaff Screen:
Aiming to defeat simple RADAR-type guidance systems, the chaff is a combination of aluminum and Carbon Nanotube monomolecular wire embedded within transparent plastics to damage any impact-based missiles.
Smoke Screen:
Red Phosphorus along with aluminum-coated glass fibers help to conceal a craft from infrared sensors for a short period of time by masking the signature of the craft. Carbon Particles assist in defeating LADAR or laser sensors by simply absorbing the beam. Carbon Fibers also assist in defeating millimeter band sensors to deny optics systems based on the MMW system a clear line of sight.
Dispenser System (Hardkill/Softkill):
Active defense systems on most vehicles use a combination of an RAVD node, and several dispensers for different threats, these canisters are deployed against a threat, and depending on the threat, can defeat it with monomolecular wired steel pellets, a larger kinetic kill projectile, photonic wave emitter or an expanding list of other countermeasures that can save a vehicle from an attack.

Intermediate Control (Bi'jorn):
Holding greater control than the Quinterrans, they are more able to lift heavier objects, create stronger barriers and use their telekinetic powers in a more controlled fashion. The Bi'jorn can operate as medics, construction, and more, as well as remotely operate certain machinery that they know the use of, and move heavy objects from afar, as well as throw such objects away without too much damage.
Intermediate Control (Quinterran):
Though weaker in the use of Psionics than the Bi'jorn, the Quinterrans are much more geared for defense, mental toughness and networking their minds together. With a solid mind meld and sufficient numbers, the Quinterrans can surpass the Bi'jorn in operational capabilities, and create barriers and use telekinesis to form more favorable conditions in combat, but are dedicated to using their powers defensively.
Genetic Psions:
All of the Psions in the Council are genetically born with the gift of Psionics, as of yet, the Dectrothians are not able to possess Psionics from their extreme augmentation. Itukizens do not possess Psionics, and those with them are viewed with such suspicion that they usually live solitary lives, or do not survive past their childhood.
Mind Melding/Networked Minds (Quinterran):
The Quinterran Race enjoys a light version of Connected Minds, being able to meld minds with other Quinterrans in order to pool their psionic abilities together. This increases their strength and their power over certain abilities. This also connects their minds in a way that they think in unison, able to share their experience with the other members of the mind meld. The use is limited in scope, being able to connect minds no more than several hundreds of kilometers, and requires several Quinterrans to initiate.
Risks involved with Psionics:
The risks involved with Psionics is simple, with all races originating from the Nova galaxy, the understanding is that the genes of those who originated from the home galaxy have a biofeedback reaction when accessing Psionics, taking bodily harm upon using the Psionic abilities they possess. This can range from a mild nosebleed or light hematoma, to broken bones, ruptured organs and death.

Adamantium Helmet Lining (Anti-Psionic Material):
Lining the helmet with psionically infused Adamantium prevents psionic users from accessing the thoughts of an individual, as well as preventing the introduction of hallucinations or other debilitating effects.
Psionic Defense Nodes (Dampening Field):
Using networked Quinterrans or a Bi'jorn operator, the operators pool together their psionic energy in order to leech surrounding psionic energy then utilize it to prevent other's psionic usage in the localized area around the PDNs, this causes them harm over a long period of time, though specialized nanites are on standby to heal them, this acts similar to a Psionic Dampening Field.

Anti-Craft Missile Launcher System:
Able to use hypersonic missiles to defend it's position, the AMLS can act as a CIWS to ships and bases.
Gatling Railgun CIWS:
These can be equipped to a craft in order to act as a CIWS to destroy enemy craft entering it's effective range, or deny the enemy access to an area around the craft.

Multi-Spectrum Targeting Scrambler:
Upon detecting a guided threat, the scrambler locks onto, and uses EW Suites to detect the kind of threat it is, before attempting to disable it on multiple frequencies of the EM and visible spectrum. This can also be used to defeat enemy optics or communication systems that are reliant on such frequencies.
Encryption Systems:
While all Datalinks and Communications between military vessels are encrypted using Two Key Encryption, each message sent will generate new keys for every datalink transmission and communication. Redundant channels exist to ensure that is part of the system fails, the others can prioritize specific packets of data and slow other non-essential systems in exchange. The Network Topology for this type of application is Full Mesh Topology. Working alongside usual encryption systems, Active Defense Data Protection assists to make stealing, disrupting or destroying data much more difficult for an assailant, while Automated Incident Responses allow for the defenders to use less effort while adding to the work an attacker needs to perform.
OTP Encryption Keys:
As with typical encryption systems, High-level and important figures are given an OTP Encryption Key, to be used if traditional encryption is deemed untrustworthy or cracked by an enemy force. This key ensures that a unique, randomized key is available for use in order to ensure the most secrecy and a trustworthy line.
Mantis IV EW/EWDS AI:
A fully sentient AI designed from the minds of a Xeno Defector and the DRI, the Mantis IV is the latest design able to both exist as several hundred AIs within a ship's network, or as physical manifestations of Nanites, each ship housing several hundred thousand of these AIs, and having an additional force to call upon if the ship is boarded. These AIs can also engage in EW by creating viruses and worms unique to each Mantis IV, allowing any two viruses or worms to never be the same, aiding in a successful infestation of an enemy's systems. New advances also incorporate the use of Psi-Defense Nodes, allowing the Mantis IVs to defend against Psionic users.
ADVAI:
A Non-Sentient AI designed to assist pilots, tank crews and vehicles, as well as some heavy PA to control tasks like countermeasures, targeting and cyberwarfare. These AI's can utilize most of the EW/EWDS systems that the Mantis Program can, though cannot physically manifest itself or have Anti-Psion capabilities.
'Limbo' Fake Systems:
Designed to appear to the passing virus or worm as a legitimate system, the 'Limbo' EWDS is most potent against enemies that have not encountered it before, and thus it's effectiveness lessens with each occurrence. Once a virus or worm is inside, the system traps and either destroys or captures the invading virus or worm, allowing it to be investigated at a later point in time.
Honeypots/Honey Nets/Honey Farms:
The Daedalus utilize both Research Honeypots and High-Interaction Honeypots in order to sufficiently gather data that is valuable for further defense against black hat organizations that may try to attack, steal or destroy data in the Council's databanks. These also provide an alternate target, much like Limbo systems, only to where the system actively imitates other legitimate systems, and allows the attacker in to waste their efforts on a sufficient amount of services.
'Enigma III' Decryption/EW Platform:
Utilizing existing satellite coverage or orbiting spacecraft to give the platform GLONASS/GPS coverage, the Enigma III has an operating range of roughly 2-3 Miles, allowing it to remotely engage in EW or decryption. This platform also can block Wifi, Radio, GPS L1-L5, ISM, Lojack, GSM, 3-5G, Wimax signals incoming and outgoing, while being able to hijack the signal in order to assert control or to feed it misinformation.
Linguistics systems in the Enigma Platform allow it to rapidly translate xeno languages into General, and if there are unique characters, it will assign a special character to serve in place to better assist the program's work. Decryption can take some time, depending on the target's technology proficiency or their redundant systems, though with varying approaches from brute force, cold/warm reboot, Trojan and Tempest attacks, most of what is needed is processing power and time.

Stored between components of the outer hull, Superfluid Helium-4 is cooled, and monitored to ensure that the temperature is below 2.17K in order to mask a ship's thermal imprint.
Vantablack Coatings:
Serving to enhance the effectiveness of RAVD Nodes, the Vantablack can defeat LADAR easily, as well as reflecting the smallest amount of light back towards any optics that may be looking. It can be applied to nearly everything, vessels, space stations or fighters.
'Blood Diamond' Heat Diffusion Plates:
Utilizing advances in Heat Dissipation, as well as the acquisition of some interesting crystalline materials, DRI have developed a metamaterial crystal, enhanced with a layer of Carbon Nanothreads, the plates can be attached to heat-producing components of the hull, whisking away the heat, dispersing it throughout it's crystalline lattice, then transferred to the surface, where the Carbon Nanothreads disperse it further, effectively keeping the hull cool.
Lithium Pools/Collectors:
Using Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanotubes, Lithium is connected to various internal sources of unfavorable heat, and is then sent along to storage pools of Lithium, where the droplets are expelled from the vessel, cooling in space, before the collection ports at various points of the vessel gather as much as it can back, based on maneuvers and speed of the vessel.
'Nazar' Optically Controlled Paramagnetic Paint:
Utilized in nearly all military assets with an RAVD system installed, the Nazar System allows for polymer containing paramagnetic iron oxide particles to be subjected to a quick EM current which is applied to adjust the spacing of small crystals within the iron oxide particles, affecting it's ability to reflect light and change color. This allows for fluid changes in camouflage patterns to meet the surrounding area, as well as an infusion of carbon microfibers to limit the effectiveness of Thermal sights.

Identification Chips:
Located in the user's arm or hand, these ID Chips allow the operation of the military firearms or equipment. Each chip has a unique identification number associated with that person's augmentations and nanites, any attempts to spoof or launder the weapons usually results in a defunct and internally destroyed weapon if the ID Chip registers it's user as being expired. The use of Command Codes are secured at Command Centers for the distribution or scrapping of older models.
Micro/Nanodrones:
Seeing use with the rising amount of nanotechnology, these drones can easily gather intelligence while being mostly invisible to the naked eye, they are equipped with a built-in RAVD and communications equipment using miniaturization techniques.

Attack Nanites:
Nanites came with Mantis IV recruits and where able to be created quickly, other races can use them as a simple supplement to their augmentations, and to help control the information and bodily functions necessary for the Dectrothians and other races to thrive. Nanites became far more advanced among the Dectrose Military, personnel with it are able to eject them out of the user's ports and utilized for specialized purposes, offensively or defensively. They also help to create the Mantis AI's body.
