Patron Eos Consortium fighter:
Overview:
The Patron is the Consortiums principle fighter craft and interceptor, while capable of engaging both air and ground targets and operating in space the Patron sees more use planet side with most anti attack craft actions dealt with by the Consortiums own weapon systems. Heavily armed for its size and incredibly fast the Patron is one of the only Eosian craft to use missiles, although these are more akin to drones the Patron can use them against ground and air targets. The Patron often finds itself escorting Rapture bombers or providing air superiority, or if that's already attained CAS missions when called upon.
Capabilities:
Armament wise the Patron has 5 directed kinetic wave guns. By using their kinetic weapon tech the gun can fire directed kinetic waves at the target, especially powerful against enemy missiles or close to medium range craft and with enemy fighters typically being somewhat softer than ground vehicles the powerful waves often tear them apart. This weapon is also very spread out, meaning accuracy is excellent and due to its AOE nature means it can engage and destroy enemy craft formations with ease.
The Patron also can use its hull for an omnidirectional kinetic wave to stop missiles or literal point blank enemy craft.
The Patron can also carry 6 'missiles' The missiles of the Eos Consortium though are far different from their more conventional cousins, essentially a contained kinetic wave blast these 'missiles' are guided bolts of energy. Targeted at long ranges to explode with the force of a heavy kinetic wave these missiles also have the benefit of not being able to be shot down by kinetic CIWS or ADS, but energy weapons or ADS can disrupt the containment and cause the missile to detonate prematurely.
Defensive measures and armour wise the Patron is very fragile. With the hull being made out of the same alloy as their starships but only a mere few millimetres thick the Patron cannot withstand any meaningful rounds, however it can withstand minor cannon fire to a degree. Its main defence is its speed and also its close range kinetic wave launcher which functions as ADS. Able to intercept other kinetic weapons fire but not energy weapons, giving it a chance of survival.
Electronic abilities wise the Patron carries a system which links the minds of both pilots together via their innate psychic abilities. Essentially while piloting the crew work as one mind with multiple bodies, quickening reaction and action times in battle far above what any human could do, with Eosians being already naturally fast mentally this gives them a superior piloting edge in the battlefield. This system is then linked with the rest of the Eosian forces and more to help facilitate command and communication.
Speed wise the Patron is extremely fast able to muster around Mach 9 at top speed, with even more in space. As speed is the Patron main defence it also has powerful dampeners to keep the crew able to operate at top efficiency regardless of speed or orientation.
Rapture Eos Consortium Bomber:
Overview:
The Rapture is the Eos Consortiums bomber, capable of functioning both in atmosphere and in space without issue. Like most Eosian forces the Rapture operates at fairly close quarters compared to other bombers that release long range ballistic missiles. Armed with multiple directed kinetic waves as well as powerful ADS the Rapture is despite its fragile superstructure, very hard to take down, and while carrying either a whole cluster of kinetic wave charges or a multi shot point wave cannon if the Rapture has made it over the target, its already dead. typically escorted by Patron fighters the Rapture sees more use planet side than in space, with enemy attack craft being destroyed by Eos weapons both the Patron and Rapture are typically regulated to clean up duties but do sometimes see action in desperate situations. Despite it size the Rapture is very fast, and very agile, able to dogfight fighter craft if need be, but that's left to the fighters while it pummels the enemy with its payload.
Capabilities:
Armament wise the Rapture has 4 directed kinetic wave guns.
