Sermon Eos Consortium Light Tank: Overview: The Sermon is the Eos Consortiums main light tank. Designed for scouting duties with powerful sensors and even with some measure of infantry capacity to carry into battle the Sermon can double over as a IFV if needed. While nearly unarmoured like most Eosian vehicles the Sermons smaller gun while nowhere near the Vigilance MBTs kinetic gun is still very powerful indeed, and frequently used to destroy enemy infantry and entrenched positions during Interdiction Cadre assaults. The Sermon uses its incredibly speed to redeploy often, both for scouting the enemy forces and where needed making harrying flank attacks on opponents support elements like artillery or logistics. Capabilities: Armament wise the Sermon mounts an Eosian planet side point kinetic wave gun. A very, very powerful weapon to mount on a light tank. By using their kinetic weapon tech the gun can channel a powerful beam at short ranges to both punch through the targets hull and explode into a kinetic wave impact inside the target, ripping it apart from within. Or it will hit the targets hull and explode there, destroying such things as tracks or the main gun itself, or stripping the armour away entirely. This weapon is also very precise, meaning accuracy is excellent and due to its AOE nature means it can engage and destroy infantry with almost laughable ease, with any swarm tactic of infantry being invalidated very quickly. The Sermon also has a close range kinetic wave launcher which uses the tanks hull itself as the projector to engage enemy infantry at very close ranges. Defensive measures and armour wise the Sermon is rather lacking. With the hull being made out of the same alloy as their starships but only a mere few millimetres thick the Sermon cannot withstand any meaningful rounds, however it can withstand infantry firearms at range. Its main defense is its speed and also its close range kinetic wave launcher which functions as ADS. Able to intercept other kinetic weapons fire but not energy weapons, giving it a chance of survival. Electronic abilities wise the Sermon carries a system which links the minds of all 3 crew together via their innate psychic abilities. Essentially while piloting the crew work as one mind with 3 bodies, quickening reaction and action times in battle far above what any human could do, with Eosians being already naturally fast mentally this gives them a superior piloting edge in the battlefield. This system is then linked with the rest of the company and more to help facilitate command and communication. Speed wise the Sermon is extremely fast able to muster around 212mph at top speed, due to its hover nature it can do this over any terrain and can go up to 50ft into the air as its top speed ceiling. As speed is the Sermon main defence it also has powerful dampeners to keep the tank and crew able to operate at top efficiency regardless of speed or orientation. The Sermon also has the capacity to carry up to 6 Eosian infantry within the tank. Variants: Serenity Mobile Missile Launcher: While the Consortium does not use missile weapons in space, they do however do so on the ground and on their aerospace craft. The missiles of the Eos Consortium though are far different from their more conventional cousins, essentially a contained kinetic wave blast these 'missiles' are guided bolts of energy. Targeted at long ranges to explode with the force of a heavy kinetic wave these missiles also have the benefit of not being able to be shot down by kinetic CIWS or ADS, but energy weapons or ADS can disrupt the containment and cause the missile to detonate prematurely. Repantance Light Wave CIWS/AA: The Repentance is the modification of the Sermon that replaces the tanks entire turret with a fixed emplacement which mounts a very high powered kinetic wave generator. This weapon can be used as an AOE or directed AOE version to either target aircraft at low to medium altitudes to utterly destroy them with little regard for aiming accuracy or maximising impact location or can be used to intercept incoming kinetic artillery rounds and missiles even those travelling at hypersonic velocities. They typically are attached to most echelons of forces to provide cover and support. Asylum Mobile Shield Generator: While Eosian shield technology on their starships are laughable at most, those used on the ground are anything but. Eosian shields are just as capable as other races, however on their starships their doctrine places less emphasis on defence. Ground wise however the Consortium recognises while lightning warfare is incredibly affective, any army must stop to regroup/re cooperate, and during this time it must be defended. Asylums provide defensive cover for Eosian artillery or troop positions or rapid cover for any moving elements, while not armed their shields allow Eosian kinetic weapons to pass through while enemy rounds impact the shield as normal.

Vigilance Eos Consortium Main Battle Tank: Overview: The Vigilance is the Consortiums primary MBT, used for many thousands of years it is an enduring design and one that has served them well. Very capable on the battlefield and seen in nearly all crusade groups where ground force interactions are needed the Vigilance combines speed and firepower to almost insane levels. The Vigilance while lacking nearly totally in armour is capable of ripping apart not only enemy MBTs but heavy tanks as well with its main gun, and capable of either dodging the enemy fire or redeploying to a position where they cannot return fire. Quite a large and spacious vehicle the Vigilance size is mostly due to its compact reactor and massive capacitor units, with a crew of 4 and a very sophisticated sensor suit and command unit the Vigilance can stay networked on the battlefield as well as defeat and engage enemy stealth units. While it is easy to kill if you can place a hit the Vigilance is already known by the Union as a very powerful adversary, and its point kinetic cannon already seen as a death sentence by the tanker crews. Absolution Tank Destroyer: The Absolution tank destroyer is a much more advanced version of the Vigilance, using a far more powerful focusing array for the kinetic wave cannon the shot can be projected over far greater distances than before, and loses less stopping power from doing such. In this regard the tank destroyer often snipes targets far off, targeting key elements in the enemy’s lines or takes up flanking moves to outmanuver then hit enemy artillery and logistics behind the lines at range. Reckoner point wave artillery: The Reckoner is a strange piece of artillery. Just as mobile as the other tank designs the Reckoner uses a directed kinetic wave cannon which while nowhere near as powerful as the dedicated tank destroyers also powers an Eosian FTL unit. Creating a stable portal, the directed kinetic wave is fired through and another opened up above the enemy locations. At most the wave will be enough to crush enemy infantry or smash tanks to pieces, and at least force infantry to go to ground or drive tanks into the ground, slowing their advance. However this artillery is nowhere near as long range as conventional weapons and is more used at most close ranges to medium. Testament APC: The Testament APC is a reworked chassis of the Vigilance, replacing the massive capacitor and generator banks and turret with room for up to 8 Paladins or Confessors and up to 5 Crusaders. With the same speed as the Vigilance the Testament can redeploy extremely fast and with a crew usable light kinetic wave gun can give minor support to the infantry it is deploying. Most Eosian infantry have a Testament dedicated to their squad.

Communion Eos Consortium Mobile Church/Super Heavy Tank: Overview: The Communion is essentially dubbed the Consortium's super heavy tank. While not as large as some of the other factions (surprising given Eos construction techniques leading to large units) and also not designed as a front line heavy hitter the Communion is essentially a mobile church, and can act as a centre command and control unit for a collection of Interdiction Cadres. The 'tower' on top of the large mobile platform array is full of Eosian faithful who link themselves to the churches mind link systems. While speaking the mantras of the Eostine the mind link allows the collective minds of the faithful to be also used for data processing, giving excellent CIC capabilities to any exemplar and his forces. While equipped with very powerful ADS typical of the Consortium the faithful inside can pray for a multitude of things, erecting shimmering barriers or causing the great blazing eye of Eos which hangs over the vehicle to emit a intensely powerful beam of pure energy, a few of the things this vehicle can achieve with the power of Eos. Capabilities: Armament wise the Communion mounts 4 light Eosian planet side point kinetic wave guns. A very, very powerful weapon to mount on a regular vehicle. By using their kinetic weapon tech the gun can channel a powerful beam at medium ranges to both punch through the targets hull and explode into a kinetic wave impact inside the target, ripping it apart from within. Or it will hit the targets hull and explode there, destroying such things as tracks or the main gun itself, or stripping the armour away entirely. With the hull being made out of the same alloy as their starships but only a mere few millimetres thick the Communion cannot withstand any meaningful rounds, however it can withstand infantry firearms at range. Its main defence is its speed and also its close range kinetic wave launcher which functions as ADS. Able to intercept other kinetic weapons fire but not energy weapons, giving it a chance of survival. However the Communions psionics are also capable of erecting a shimmering golden forcefield which can defend against heavy attacks or create a multitude of other defensive measures which can intercept enemy attacks or redirect them back at the foe. Electronic abilities wise the Communion carries a system which links the minds of all the crew together via their innate psychic abilities as well as link all 45 of the faithful together who ride in the tower. Essentially while piloting the crew work as one mind with multiple bodies, quickening reaction and action times in battle far above what any human could do, with Eosians being already naturally fast mentally this gives them a superior piloting edge in the battlefield. This system is then linked with the rest of the company and more to help facilitate command and communication. With the added power of 45 additional minds this CIC capability can act as such for a multitude of companies to aid Exemplars in their command capabilities. Speed wise the Communion is extremely fast able to muster around 90mph at top speed, due to its hover nature it can do this over any terrain and can go up to 50ft into the air as its top speed ceiling. As speed is the Communion main defence it also has powerful dampeners to keep the tank and crew able to operate at top efficiency regardless of speed or orientation.

Eos Paladin: "Praise be his name, let his gaze guide my aim, and his wrath strike my enemies. Hallowed is thee, Eos" Eos Paladin battlechant. Eos Paladins are the basic ground forces and infantry of the Eos Consortium, put into interdiction cadres where they will then engage heretic ground forces they specialise in close range warfare. Equipped with Eosian plate armour this armour while enough to stop some small arms is not on par with other armours and is more for ornamentation than anything else, however the faceplate incorporates a HUD to aim targetting and information flow. They also carry an Eos precision beam rifles, capable of punching holes in heavy armour however isnt very long ranged. They also come equipped with Eos wave grenades, powerful explosive devices which explode in massive kinetic waves much like their starship weapon capable of pulverising both infantry and buildings alike. These troops are fanatical in their devotion and will rather fight to the death tooth and nail than withdraw. Eos Confessor: "By the Emperor one minute we were waiting for the enemy the next minute they materialise in front of us, they used those powerful wave rifles to just crush our squad in moments, if it wasnt for our Skia support we would of been destroyed... Those shock troops are rightfully to be feared" Union infantryman encountering Eos Confessors on Joronas. Eos Confessors are one of the Consortiums many shock troops. Excelling in close quarter combat these troops while slightly more armoured are equipped with a minature version of the Eos point jump FTL system. This can be used in either two ways, the first is passive jumps which will allow the user to jump say to the other side of a wall to engage enemies, these small scale jumps can be safely calculated without incident however the second mode is a long range jump of up to 20 meters. These parameters however make the jumps somewhat unsafe, some do not appear or appear amalgamated inside of terrain or even enemies. However are perfect for shock assaults, these jump drives have a charge of a few minutes and up to 30 jumps thanks to Eos impressive energy production technology. Armed with point wave assault rifles these weapons fire a focused burst much like the grenades which at close range is practically a death sentence to even heavy infantry or huge damage to vehicles, the further the distance away the less the affect becomes while they are very very close range almost like shotguns. Confessors are also fanatical in their cause and will never back down from a situation and can be heard shouting litanies of Eos while conducting battle. Eos Crusader: "The time for subtlety in removing these heretics is over. Time to bring forth the torch. Send in the Crusaders" Eos Exemplar Eos Crusaders are the heaviest of the Eosian ground forces. With heavier armour the Crusader infantry can withstand more fire than normal and in this situation has a personal shield generator, while not very powerful it can save them from heavy fire for a few seconds or more. Allowing the Crusaders to close with the enemy where their heavy wave cannons can be used to destroy enemy units, with some carrying portable point wave mortars to act as fire support. The Crusaders are typically very stern, and will not take prisoners, killing men women or children if necessary in the will of Eos.

The Allegiants will route out such heresy and they shall be the purifiers who keep our faith untainted" High Exemplar Castris, head of the Ancerious Eosian Order. Order of the Cleansing Flame: The Order of the Cleansing Flame is one that is both revered for its duty but also feared for its actions. The Order traces its routes to the end of the Eosian civil war, established by the Lord Exemplar the Order was tasked with routing out heretics or those who would defy the will of Eos within the Consortium's own population. The Order hunts down and brings to justice those Eosians who waver in their faith or who interpret the will of Eos in a way that is against the clergy and the Exemplars. They are ruthless in their pursuits however unlike the secret police of other empires the Order is totally open about their charge, wearing orange and white instead of the usual white and yellow they are clearly seen and they also act as police or mediators for any disagreements between faithful. The Order can be seen freely roaming the cities and streets of the Consortium and interacting with the populance, however when they catch word of potential heresy they track down the perpetrator without remorse. Despite wearing no visible armour each Order Allegiant is equipped with a powerful personal shield, and beneath their orange robes they carry Eosian small arms and hand held weapons, with training able to give them the edge in close range fights and able to outrun and outperform even other Eosians in running or combat moving gracefully in ways that no human could ever hope to achieve.

Archanite Eos Consortium Siege Unit: Overview: The Archanite is another one of the Consortiums rare but immensely powerful units designed for niche situations. Made for breaking enemy installations or destroying heavily armoured foes the Archanite is not a mobile shrine like the Communion is, and is not powered by the Eosians psionic energies. Instead it contains a miniature star, designed to use localised blink units to open up small FTL portals to funnel the stars energy through the Archanite can create a terrifying bombardment of radiation, intense heat and burning plasma over enemy forces enough to crack shields, slaughter entire companies and slag super heavies. Often deployed far behind the frontline the Archanite has little in the way of defense other than its light shields and kinetic defense weaponry. Capabilities: Armament wise the Archanites primary weapon is a contained star. Held within powerful containment shields this star acts as its power source and weapon system, utilising multiple blink units (Like those found on Kinetic wave artillery) the Archanite can siphon off small solar flares, ionizing waves of radiation and even sections of said star in the way of plasma beams made of the small suns mass. These attacks can wipe out most enemy forces and unlike most Eosian weaponry is actually very long range thanks to the blink units. If the containment is breached however and the Archanite destroyed the star will likely be set free and caused a catastrophic situation for all forces around for thousands of km. The Archanite also has a close range kinetic wave launcher which uses the vehicles hull itself as the projector to engage enemy infantry at very close ranges. Defensive measures and armour wise the Archanite is rather lacking especially for a super heavy vehicle. With the hull being made out of the same alloy as their starships but only a mere few millimetres thick the Archanite cannot withstand any meaningful rounds, however it can withstand infantry firearms at range.
