Kfar Tzvora System
It was his. All his. And nobody else's.
Fnor Voronoi sat grinning as his huge oversized cranium pulses and throbbed, the smaller atrophied body being kept on top of its throne. Countless tubes and machines catering to the grotesque Coronan Judge whose massive cranial and brain augmentations had significantly boosted his mental faculties and capabilities to the point of a normal average human.
And yet before him was what he had wished for. A tool to use against the others, a tool to finally get him what he desired.
Yog Narr. The Eclipse Lord of Palm Mirdiff resurrected from the dead. And it was all his.
The fleet kept its distance, the remains of his forces and those of the OCCCA which had fought off those who had tried to deny him his prize. Wreckage was strewn about the system of both sides but he didnt care, he watched with interest as the moon sized organism pulsed and heaved, repairing its damage, birthing new forces to help protect it and flexing its body and capabilities as it slowly took in what had happened to it. Of course the swarm which orbited it was no different, now connected to their master once more the massive swarms of Yog Narrs fleet and Standing weapon imitations had got to work in devouring the flesh tail of all those which had perished as well as consuming the wrecks of everything nearby to use every available material for repairs of their lord.
Slowly but surely the scar of the Little Light Impactor was healing…
With this by his side Fnor could do anything and with the console before him along with the powerful algorithm and incomprehensible systems devised by the Wasting he could control the being as he saw fit.
That was until the almost ten thousand FTL contacts that appeared at the edge of interdiction. Almost immediately he was contacted, the communication system displaying a riot of colour and fanfare as another judge, Krenac Gadlom, appeared wearing such a ridiculously ornate costume that Fnor had to hold back a look of disgust. Gadlom was no normal judge, as Fnor would otherwise not have given them the time of day. He was none other than a Supreme Justice of Corona’s highest court, and Fnor could tell it by the way his own implants forced him to bow his bloated head in obligatory respect. The Supreme Court was here, eager to get its cut of the High Court’s efforts and claim them as their own. In Coronan society, upwards mobility only lasted until a judge from a higher court had his interest piqued by the works of one of its underlings, and Fnor had just hit his ceiling.
“Excellent truly excellent! Look at what you have brought me haha! This is mine now, all mine and you have to hand it over give me control or I will fucking blast your pitiful fleet apart. Now. Now please” The demands were straight to the point, expected of Krenac who was known to be a bully, even by Coronan standards. He was no common Supreme Justice as he possessed none of their physical and cognitive augmentations. Dwarfish and malformed, he came from the lowest and least civilized rungs of society, he was the People’s Judge. He’d been elected to the head of the supreme court in a protracted, corrupt election with which Corona maintained a veneer of democracy.
In fact, as the People’s Justice was nominally at the head of the Supreme Court, Krenac was nothing less than the de facto leader of the entire Third Republic of Corona and every word he uttered was law. Those who knew better were aware that the true power of the subhuman horde that was the “Boreal Empire” was, however, the other Supreme Justices. People’s Justices only served for one year and had little knowledge of the law or politics, their brief tenure was usually spent mostly interfering with and ruining the Supreme Court’s plans. They were little more than idiotic millstones hung around the neck of the Supreme Court and as hated by the Justices as they were loved by the rabble. As such, the other Justices normally went to great lengths to distract the People’s Justice with some pet project that would grab their feeble attention and keep them from interfering with internal politics.
And with MOBY DIKK no longer available, it seemed as the Supreme Court had chosen to saddle Fnor’s court with the wretched People’s Justice.
“I secured this prize. Yog Narr is mine, stop this obscene demand” Fnor replied clearly, his speech much more refined. He had bled for this, he would be damned if he would see it taken from him.
“Ok you die now thank you, thank you” Krenac bowed as the guns of the larger Coronan fleet instantly powered up. Fnor felt his blood run cold at the prospect of death. He didn't want to throw away his prize. But throwing away his life was even more insane.
“Ok. Fine, I am sending you the data and program. Remember this next time you owe me Krenac I did this for the Republic” Hate seethed in his voice. The Coronan Judge on the other end laughed as his spiteful pitiful face contorted into a grin.
“Good good thank you, thank you, stupid brain head haha fucking retard. Your nothing, go back to Maiscape haha” The link was cut. And Fnor found himself crying.
-----
It had been hours since the transfer had begun, the titanic Coronan fleet of Krenac had moved in close to Fnors, both to intimidate the judge and to make Krenac feel more menacing as the huge data link tethers continued to siphon the carefully programmed and laid out controlling system for Yog Narr. Still it wasn't just the program, shuttles ferried back and forth between Fnor and Krenacs vessels as they disassembled the command console system and hardware needed for reassembly. All the while the menacing form of Yog Narr still hung, slowly repairing and regaining its strength.
Krenac himself sat in his huge and aggressively decorated command throne, almost two entire stories above the rest of the crew. His squat, rotund and terribly kept frame quivered as he excitedly awaited the finishing touches of his new play thing. Finally after asking ‘is it finished’ for the thousandth time the control unit was complete, with a hum of power the holographic screen opened to reveal the intricate controls of Yog Narr.
This was met with instant anger and shouting by Krenac who had expected a full on video game control system, instead it had been made for Fnor, with proper functionality and in depth analysis on the status of the living super weapon. Krenac shouted and screamed for a few minutes as his ‘attendants’ enslaved normal humans, quickly tried to comprehend the controls. A few minutes more of abuse being hurled at them later they quickly consoled their ‘lord’ and helped him to understand the controls.
“Go forward!” Krenac shouted, manipulating some of the controls. A few moments later the massive form of the living weapon began to move, deep within its frame the gravitic engines that shifted it springing into life, the cloud around it softly moving with it to keep up with their mother.
“And go back!” Krenac laughed, immediately the huge entity stopped and began to move back to where it once sat, the swarms turning to follow as it did so.
“And shoot!” He giggled and gurgled as he mashed the controls. Two bright flares appearing on the viewscreen as titanic plasma shots, the like that it had engaged the Gauss and Huron fleets with earlier, were fired into the void of space at no particular target.
“It's so fun! I wanna use it to blow something up!” The command was shouted across the bridge and the ships AI appeared to try and answer his demand.
“What target would you like to find my prince?” the soothing female tone made Krenac grin.
“A good one! One that we want to blow up, one that will be fun!” The input made the AI pause before replying.
“Potential targets include the forces that have withdrawn here to the Little Light, their current loc-”
“No boring, BORING! He already fought them and thats boring they will run away, BORING!” The cut off by Krenac was handled well by the AI that continued.
“Another alternative is the fortress of Panther-Wotan-”
“No! No! We would all be destroyed even with this new toy we would die that not good”
“Then perhaps the Boras system current operation base of Alhergus of the High Imperium who recently disrupted Anc-”
“Yes! YES! Go there, right now lets go! We blow up Algy and make him pay for money lost! Time to die time to die!” Krenac laughed as his eyes widened at the prospect of combat. As one the Coronan ships charged their drives, the AI used the interface of Yog Narr to inform it where to go. This time there was some lag between the command and the living weapon, the control collars for the neural implants registering high heat output before finally the energy spike from Yog Narr indicated it was going to jump. A massive portion of space seemed to bend, gravitational lensing distorting stars and more as the living weapon wrapped itself in an alcubierre field and left the system. With Krenac still laughing maniacally the Coronan fleet jumped too hot on its heels.

Boras System:
They knew the fleet was coming.
In fact it was practically impossible not to see it coming. First off the massive signature of Yog Narr itself was a beacon on FTL EW sensors for Boras, the size of it being a huge give away for the sudden attack, but just behind it the also massive signature of around 10,000 ships followed. It was a doomsday scenario for the forces of Boras, with the warmaster away fighting in the Varnel system the main bulk of the fleet was not ready to repel such an attack, just the numbers alone eclipsed any potential hope of defense, let alone what came out of FTL first.
Yog Narr translated into the system at the vanguard, its fields collapsing in such a way as to create a visible gravitic wave that spread out, detectable by every sensor system in Boras easily giving away its position. The swarm of ships and creatures around it spread out as the living weapon accelerated in the system. Shortly after Krenacs fleet also appeared, flashing into existence in serried ranks akin to that of a shield wall. Coronan battleships sat side by side in ranks and layers weapons ready and sensors already drinking in everything they could.
“WHERE IS HE? WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MAN! I WANT TO KILL THE MAN!” Krenac was already shouting as the initial sensor readings indicated that the bulk of Alhergus fleet was not present. Still it seemed he had turned Boras into quite the defended position.
Three planets orbited the yellow main sequence star, the first, a molten devastated mess was all that remained of the once inhabited world. Destroyed by the warmaster it was now left as a rotting corpse likely to be a reminder to the galaxy of the man's power. The second planet was also uninhabitable, but extensive mining operations were detected on the surface where important materials were harvested and transported to the third planet, a gas giant with multiple orbiting shipyards, cut off from the other two worlds by a notable asteroid field. All the while over three hundred orbital defense platforms and various defenses orbited close to the shipyards and mines. That wasn't all either, nearly two hundred ships hung close to the gas giant, some were brand new while others seemed much older. Likely one of the many batches of reserves Alhergus was attempting to construct.
“He's not home! Where is he!” Krenac yelled with a shrill cry, but before even the AI could reply he continued “I don't care! Burn it, burn it all! Go Yog Narr blow them up! Kill them all! Yes! Die die!” he aggressively punched the holographic buttons before him, having been made somewhat easier on route by some reprogramming to be more ‘user friendly’ for Krenac. The big red button saying ‘Attack’ being his happiest change.
Deep within the bowels of Yog Narr the mass of kolleronic matter kept at immensely high pressures and temperatures now began to spin. Faster and faster as the creature began to move forward and its swarms spread out. The Coronans hung back, quite happy to let their new toy take the fall should it all go wrong, but they knew what Yog Narr was, they knew it would exceed their expectations. As the spinning exotic mass got up to its proper speed countless distortions were detected, gravitational and kolleronic as all FTL communication ceased. This was what it did after all, Yog Narr was a jammer, and had once shut down communications across the Entire Little Light. Of course that wasn't needed, and so its impressive ability was only capped to what the Coronans wanted. Still all FTL communications ceased in Boras, choked under the sheer weight of distortions emanating from the sphere of living flesh.
Its swarms went first of course. Millions of imitated Standing weapons, cruel implementations of ships and more came like the bow wave of a ship. They drove head first towards the shipyards, heedless of the barrages of long range missiles fired at them from concealed positions along the asteroid belt, and long range lance shots from the defending fleet. Space lit up with fire as the creatures died in droves, in another time they would have acted with lethal intelligence and precision. But Yog Narr had died, and now been shackled. The swarms were still starving, and they saw the Boras system as food to be consumed, to heal themselves and their lord. The outer ODPs were attacked first, overrun by creatures that tore the constructions apart, consuming metals, fuels, materials, composites and even living crew to feed the insatiable appetite.
More died as they pressed on, the heavier ODPs, the Sacomthraces, fired at key heavier swarm targets while others fired at Yog Narr itself. The lance beams tore through large biological carrier ships, popping them from stem to stern and showing the sheer power of their hard hitting anti capital weapons. But those that impacted Yog Narr did minimal damage, it was like throwing eggs at a brick wall. Each impact kicked up super heated vapourised flesh and more, but it was a small pin prick compared to the beings overall mass. Soon enough shooting Yog Narr itself was ruled out, the weapons put back towards trying to thin the swarm.
Yog Narr cared little for interdiction, not showing any signs of attempting to use its drives or any sort of hidden FTL weapons. But without the ability to coordinate at FTL time frames, the defenses of the warmaster suffered greatly. Platforms at longer distances could not time their attacks precisely to coincide with their closer brethren and the fleet itself which fought to keep the swarm back faced problems with light lag as they attempted to put up a unified anchored defense. They did try however, and for a brief time they held the swarm at bay, neither gaining ground as lance fire, missiles and more traded with biological weapons. However with a burst of light Yog Narr unleashed its heavy plasma emplacements. Two massive shots, each as bright as a star hurtled forward, the swarm moving out of their way. They did not aim for the defense fleet, for such would be easily able to dodge, but instead for the shipyards. Such large structures could not move in time, filled with half completed warships some tried to escape, breaking moorings while small unmanned tugs tried to pull other hulls to safety. But it was to no avail, the huge roiling balls of plasma engulfed the largest of the shipyards, vaporizing them but also impacting one of Boras IIIs moons. Blasted apart by the sheer power of the impact the high velocity wreckage of the moon spread out, impacting other ODPs and spelling doom for anything caught within Boras IIIs gravity well. While the other shipyards, smaller in size lived for now, the wreckage that came hurtling towards them would be a death sentence. Once more, those aboard tried to escape and take whatever hulls they could with them.
With the main shipyards destroyed and the fleet now taking heavy casualties, Yog Narr once again advanced. The swarms flowing around Boras III to scavenge everything they could get their hands on as fiery rain and explosions showered the gas giants upper atmosphere. The asteroid field was no obstacle to the living weapon, a small skirmish erupting as ambush units attempted to slow the things advance on Boras II. However at such close range even the radio frequencies were jamming with alien screaming and with coordination being extremely hard the swarms raced over those units set to defend in short order, each fighting bravely to the last in taking down as many horrific bio weapons as possible.
Boras II had until now waited for its end, cut off from FTL communication and less defended than the bastions of Boras III its death once again came at the hands of the plasma cannons. The impacts turned the world into ironically a mirror image of Boras I when Alhergus had burnt it to the mantle. Huge atmospheric storms burned as the crust was melted away and the world was wounded mortally. The last of the forces in the system still battled as the work of Yog Narr was nearly done, and now the Coronans, assured of the victory, had moved in for the kill. Their ship walls added to the maelstrom, ETC storms joining with biological firepower to wipe the remaining defense platforms and fleeing ships. But it was in this moment of triumph that Krenacs doom would be sealed.
A single defense platform, acting on automated threat assessment, fired on Yog Narr, a pointless and futile gesture. However the impact zone hit a main relay point for the neural links and control collars. Turning the resulting zone into molten metal and flesh the control system, already overheating and stressed with Krenacs Constant attempts to micro what Yog Narr was doing blew out. Almost immediately, the swarm, and Yog Narrs massive batteries turned on the Coronans.
“No NO WHAT IS HAPPENING!” Krenac cried as the plasma shot vapourised the entire right flank of the Coronan fleet, wiping out almost three thousand ships in a single shot.
“The control system is offline, we need to withdraw-”
“NO, NO THE PET HAS REBELLED KILL IT KILL IT I KNEW FNOR WOULD BETRAY ME REEEEEE!” Krenac screamed as the Coronans now retargeted their guns. It was a short conflict, with half of the Coronan fleet immediately fleeing it took almost 30 minutes for Yog Narr and its remaining swarm to tear apart most of Krenacs fleet. The moment Krenacs command ship had died being torn apart by standing weapons the rest of the Coronans fled. Yog Narr had slipped the leash, and now had an entire system to feast upon. The swarms danced as their lord, now free, directed them to feast and feed it, to consume all in Boras to then ready for the continued plan. The only plan it had ever known, and had thus far failed to complete, even without its true lord Mirdif Yog Narr would do its intrinsic mission.
To destroy the Little Light.
It was his. All his. And nobody else's.
Fnor Voronoi sat grinning as his huge oversized cranium pulses and throbbed, the smaller atrophied body being kept on top of its throne.
