The bombardment at Ultrasina was treated as if it had happened to any other member state of the Union, hundreds of ships from the Union National Rescue and Relief we’re dispatched with medical supplies, temporary shelters, excavation and rescue equipment personnel. Their mission clear but difficult given the nature of the weapon used, but never the less they would work closely with local group to achieve the best outcome of this disaster. UNRR would also establish another staging station in UWA space namely the Atonement system, dozens of tugs came through a wormhole carefully assembling the stations modules, a relatively quick process only taking roughly a day to complete. From here UNRR could better coordinate their efforts in UWA space as well as provide quicker response times to future disasters.
Next to enter UWA en masse was orbital infrastructure mainly wormhole gates leading to and from UDS controlled space as well as system to system inside UWA space. Five tugs carried one half of the gate placing them within orbital paths of system stars where they we’re easily accessible and would be out the way of other infrastructure. Once completed and both territories we’re connected through the gate network masses of tugs came into UWA systems this time carrying in weapons platforms and orbital defence systems, these systems only needed to be put together from their four spate components all of which had been sitting in massive storage sites in deep space where they could easily be retrieved if needed. In Veneshia however a fleet anchor was placed for the Union Fifth Fleet which was on constant alert now more than ever thanks to the war started by the Dectrose. The orbital networks would take time with the large distance many of the components had to travel to get there especially with how large they we’re going to end up being.
The last element of military forces came from the Union Army, with the 642nd Army Group coming in to add their strength to the UWA worlds. It consisted of Six field armies with two going to each of the core worlds of the UWA where they would establish bases across the planets. The bases themselves would be set up in remote locations and with the UWA’s permission would soon spawn a local settlement for the varying amount of family members and what not of the soldiery.
The final step to Union integration was economic with the largest corporations taking the lead buying up whatever shares they could in local companies as well buying up land for their own branches and expeditions into the untapped market potential of the UWA. Raxus shipyards would work tirelessly to establish new dockyards in the UWA to not only expand production but over time move towards driving out the competition with its competitive pricing. Vela Armouries would also jump on the chance to steal away government contracts sourcing materials and personnel to start their own factories or buy out existing ones to get productions up. Rogue Arm Inc. was sitting pretty knowing that the all the corporations moving in would be calling them up to set up the necessary logistical networks to make it happen. Rose Syndicate however made its regular moves into the more advanced end of UWA R&D companies as well advanced weapons production sticking it’s fingers into anywhere else that it could. The culture that came with with them would be a huge shock for the citizens of the UWA.
In response to the war and the need for a large relief agency to handle casualties and other expenses of disaster, the United Medical Association of the Avarian Frontier was founded. At first, 9000 joined. Now 10739 more joined. And everyday, it grew larger. Now it served alongside the UNRR in aiding the lost and the weeping of Ultrasina.
On the other hand, UWA warships made sure UDS tugs and everything else that the UDS brought into the UWA territories were safe. They shared tactical data with each other from the first battle and also gave advice and permissions to the UDS as they worked.
And on the ground, many people welcomed the arriving UDS armies well. On Satembi, Veneshia and Alondra, the armies were greeted with fireworks, cries of joy and embraces as well as crowds of joyful, relieved citizens who waved UDS and UWA flags.
On the other hand, some UWA corporations were not happy as the UDS ones came in. The government though promised mountains of compensations. That silenced them and allowed a smoother entry of their Ally's corporations.
But what else did the UWA do? Well, the Secretary insisted on finding out who was going to be in charge of everything and everyone the UDS sent here. On the other hand, the Secretary also wanted to schedule a meeting with the UDS corporations so she could help them speedily do their thing in the UWA.
At the same time, General of the Armies Veronica asked to meet with the head of the armies sent by the UDS to the UWA so she could coordinate her own ground forces with theirs.
