Stratakos: Stratakos seems to be a system filled with wrecks and ruin. One large planetoid seems to be the remains of the fortress world that once resided in system and destroyed orbital platforms litter the entire small solar system, orbiting a small red dwarf. However the most prominent thing is that the planet is heavily irradiated, almost to a level that is impossible for natural causes. Unless it was hit by a solar event (unlikely given the red dwarf) or a GRB (unlikely due to sensor readings of the area) the event seems to be relatively unique to the planet. Infrastructure and defense emplacements planetside seem to be totally intact, but there are no lifesigns or energy readings of any kind.
Persephone: The mining system also seems to be fairly devastated, another planet sits irradiated but not as badly as Stratakos, the planet is also devoid of life and its infrastructure for mining is relatively intact. Orbital platforms and defenses seem to have been destroyed as have a selection of wrecked Auraxii ships, it seems the systems dead.
Stratakos: With the usual bursts of purple rings into the system, the 150 ship strong fleet of Rear Admiral Ronald Edgerton entered the scene of destruction. The immediate influx of information peaked his curiosity, the unusual radiation of the planet caused the Alhayan to check the possibility of some sort of irradiation weapon, nuclear or otherwise. For the most part, the fleet wandered through the system, shields raised, weapons hot, ready to go at the drop of a pin, but still, there was only the silence of a dead system to greet them as they actively searched for the answer to the big question. 'What happened here?'
Persephone: Rather than the purple-ringed entry of Edgerton, Rear Admiral Jason Hawley used wormholes to silently step into the ruined mining system. It was disappointing, while Pierce had the chance to work with the Auraxii, Hawley was looking forward to some heroic work, but upon entry, his interest died like the system he was in. Now all he could think of was the data he'd have to sit down and fill out after he made sure to clear the system. The 150 ships moved in a scattered formation, shields up and weapons primed, but actively scanning the debris and planets to see if they could find anything interesting.
Stratakos: Now that you have information from Illios its clear that this world backed by information from free fall Auraxii records was a fortress system held by the main Auraxii clan, and likely destroyed by the Pugatio Ignis, the large super weapon now found in Illios. Sadly the system is dead too heavily irradiated to be of any use with most of the gear on the surface surviving however in time it might be retrievable although its all inferior tech
Persephone: No contacts appear on screens, the situation here is similar to Stratakos, this place was likely the first 'test firing' of the super weapon to test its capabilities. However most of the mining gear and infrastructure is still intact and the radiation is not so bad here, it may very well be usable.
Stratakos: Edgerton gave a sigh, pushing aside the datalink from the Illios fleet. It was going to take time, but the Dectrose could eventually work on this planet, scrub it down over the course of several years and maybe by then, it'd be safe enough to use. The fortresses where of great interest, and with the populace long dead, there'd be nothing to stop them from claiming the system.
Persephone: The data and reports already sat on Hawley's HUD, as he filled them out mentally. The mining equipment would be nice, if there's anything of value on this planet, they could in theory be put back to use. For now though, the colonization board needed their report, the Dectrose claimed this system, and would be put to use much faster than Stratakos.
