It was some time after the hearing held in the TDA's territory that a new meeting was required. The result of the hearing was all over the news-media and further damaged the Empires reputation. The humiliation the Empire suffered as a result of the hearing had no comparison in the last millennia. The resentment and bitterness over the events that had unfolded had begun to build up against those whom the people of the Empire viewed as having wronged the Davian empire as a whole. Despite this groundswell of resentment, the harsh reality was an entirely separate thing the Davian higher-ups suspected that the entire purpose of the hearing was simply as a sort of smear-campaign which would give a short list of foreign nations a reason to begin aggressive maneuvers against the Empire. The hearing and its coverage in the media would make getting help to fend off a foreign invader more difficult, or at worst guarantee some formerly neutral nations might side with the invaders. This was not the only problem the Divine Davian Empire faced, as the threat from a faction called Vaanitas Supremacy and their allies the Cricaean Kingdom added more difficulties to the increasingly turbulent times. The fact that the Empire couldn't provide more support to the new sector as conflicts elsewhere were straining resources across the board. Local solutions would be needed to survive the current crisis. The nineteenth sector had to improve its defenses and foster stronger diplomatic relations with both allied nations and new factions before any true hostilities broke out. With that in mind the sector command had called for a diplomatic meeting with its two friendliest allies; the Risallas Dominion and the Interstellar Republic of Singapore for a meeting to figure out the way to safeguard and improve the position of Davian holdings. The meeting would be organized at Voi Con, the primary trade and diplomatic system of nineteenth sector. Yet instead of the main planet, the ocean planet was chosen as a place to hold the actual meeting. Clearly the Davian preferred a quieter place instead of the main planet to hold the meeting.
[IRS]
When the news of the trial and what the Davians did during joint operations in Vestahl space reached Barenkovic, he was at most just slightly perturbed. Not exactly at the Davians' alleged misconduct, good heavens no, more at the results of the trial. Was the harsh diplomatic isolation really necessary for something the IRS would consider as an unfortunate incident? Perhaps such an outcome is justice to those who treasure the lives of their soldiers. The Union may have withdrawn their ties, but the IRS would remain committed to Davia. Their potential usefulness to the Republic's own interests far outweighs any moral implications of siding with the 'hated' Davians.
Barenkovic's ship docked at the nearest space station in orbit of the ocean planet. A shuttle ferried him and his diplomatic escorts of scribes and soldiers to the surface of the ocean planet. With him are the gestures of the Republic's goodwill; virtual contracts for strategic resources, trade and economic packages as well as a catalog of reserve military forces and equipment available for diplomatic deployments.
[Dominion]
Despite the result of the hearing which popular press was calling a trial, the Dominion’s high command decided it was for the best to keep with the five-year agreement originally forged with the Davians individually. As such, elements of the Dominion fleet that fought at both Rubikon and the Crucible made a slight diversion to stop off at VoiCon to attend the meeting. The group was lead by the RDNS Solai, a Gloucester class cruiser that had received noticeable damage in the fighting and was missing one of its outboard sub-light engines. As a whole the detached group all had battle damage but it had by this time been repaired enough to not precisely cause alarm to those who saw the vessels passing by. Even so the group of twelve vessels arrived at Voicon on time for the meeting. The Dominion utilized a Raider dropship to ferry Vice-Admiral Taravis to the spaceport or dock closest to the meeting’s location. Although the choice of ship was a bit unusual as raiders were normally used for covert insertion of troops, the choice was one of necessity, the RDNS’s Solai’s shuttles had been either destroyed or rendered inoperable.
===============================[Cycle: 2]
[Davia]
Just moment after their arrival the ships from both IRS and RD would be guided toward the other side of the ocean planet and docked on a fairly large space station there. Here the guests would have quickly found out this side of the planet was less busy than the other part of the system. The shuttles ferrying the delegations left their ships, they would be guided and escorted by a few Davian craft down the surface. Despite being classified as ocean world, some islands still managed to reach above the surface of the water mass; some of these islands were used as tourist paradises or small military installations. The meeting place was somewhat a cross between them, a small military complex with perfect sightseeing completed with enough support for high ranking meeting.
As the shuttles landed comfortably on landing parts and the delegations walked out, they would be welcome by a company of Davian honored guards who stood in formation at both sides of the landing area. At the middle of the red carpeted road stood a few Davian in both military and civilian fashion led by Imperial Emissary Tram Ngan and her military counterpart, commissar Shen, the one who won the Vestalh war. "Welcome to Voi Con trade system of Divine Davian Empire honored guests." The Emissary smiled while bowing slightly as a gesture of respect toward the delegations: "I am Tram Ngan, emissary of Davia. I will escort you to the meeting room. And may I know who would be your highest official here?"
[IRS]
"That would be me," Barenkovic raised his hand. "Barenkovic Shimm, Civil Administrator of the IRS territories in Ancerious."
"These are my scribes and my protection detail. However, if your leaders wish so, I can leave Captain Yunos and his Marines behind to guard the shuttle if they are anxious about having armed forces in the meeting room," he introduced the IRS personnel following behind him.
[Dominion]
Vice-Admiral Taravis took a few moments to retrieve load and light his pipe, though if the scent of what was within once he puffed on it a few times could be smelled it was clearly not something as noxious as tobacco. The aroma resembled a mix of sandalwood and vanilla which was pleasant but not overwhelming.
“Greetings to our trading partners in the Divine Davian Empire. I am Vice-Admiral Taravis, representative of the Dominion of Risallas.” Taravis gestured to two assistants whom disembarked with the Vice-Admiral. “These two are here to handle the likely paper work between our respective nations for any new agreement we forge today.”
===============================[Cycle: 3]
[Davia]
"It's my honor Civil Administrator Barenkovic Shimm and Vice-Admiral Travis. And we don't mind about having armed force escort either of you sir" Tram Ngan smiled friendly: "Please follow me. The Sector's command is waiting."
The delegates would be escorted into the building by the emissary, her staff and a small group of Davian Honor Guard. The building despite appearances was just the surface part of a larger complex which was carefully built into an underground mountain slope. As the delegates stepped into a massive elevator it began to move down. On the way guests would have clear sight to look out at the underwater world of the planet.
"Our guests are here grand councilor." Tram Ngan announced as she led the delegations into a large meeting room which clearly was designed for a meeting like this.
"It's my utmost honor, friends." A rather small figure stood up as he saw the guests and walked quickly toward them for a handshake: "You must be Civil Administrator Barenkovic Shimm and Vice-Admiral Taravis. I am Kia sector commander of Davia 19th Sector. And here is my second in charge Gold and Green." He glanced at the two robotic figures which standing behind him.
"Mister Barenkovic. I am glad that we meet the other again here. And welcome Vice-Admiral Travis." Green smiled while shaking hand with both.
"It is my honor to meet you two." Gold bowed slightly before shaking hands: "With your allowance, ladies and gentlemen please take a sit."
As everyone managed to comfortably sit-down Kia began his speak: "Ladies and gentlemen. I am glad that you accepted our invitation here. As you may already know, the current events affected us quite a lot and we happen to need support from our friends."
[IRS]
"Yes indeed, such an unfortunate turn of events," Barenkovic muttered, clasping his hands together. "The events of the trial, the collapse of the WRL and isolation from the larger intergalactic indeed worries me. I was hoping that the WRL would stabilize and keep the Avarian Frontier free from APP control, and see Davia as the AGA's newest member. Now without the WRL and without support from key allies such as the Union, it would be difficult to establish such a foothold."
Barenkovic turned towards Kia and his subordinates. "But you have my word, Davia remains a vital ally to the IRS and we have every interest to ensure your security. We are willing to aid Davia as much as we possibly can to overcome these trying times."
[Dominion]
Vice-Admiral Taravis shook Gold’s hand politely and took a seat. He picked up on the comments by Barenkovic and responded in respectful tones. “While I cannot argue that recent events have played out unfavorably in the media and politically….” Taravis then removed his pipe from his mouth to allow for more clear speech via a translator device that hovered over his left shoulder. “…the ‘collapse’ of the WRL is not what it seems; if anything, the collapse was largely orchestrated.” Taravis gave a moment or two to let his words have proper effect. “Some times you must engage in somewhat…unsavory political maneuvering to protect the greater good of a region that has internal and external threats.”
===============================[Cycle: 4]
[Davia]
"Indeed, the flow of events were uneasy for us." Kia responded: "And I share your concern Administrator Barenkovic. It is unfortunate that these events will greatly hamper not only our own plans but also make our entrance into AGA bloc much harder. Thus, we were forced to adjust our approach. For instance, our plan to join AGA will have to wait, instead we will try to establish or strengthen binary relation with several AGA friendly factions such as you, then try to reform ourselves with your help to suit the general standard if there are any. Of course, in turn we will support your factions as much as we can. Then we will try to repair or improve our relation before going further. The process will take times but seem viable."
"Speaking of establishing foothold in the area, I must say the task would be a little rough now for both of us. There are threats and dangerous potential here." Kia gave out a small smile however: "Still I am glad that IRS still considering us as vital allies, we would gladly accept your help and in return we will provide any help we can to you. For instant we can increase trading and joint R&D together as well as provide support for your ships and let you to station your armed forces within our territory to protect your interest and to support us." The sector commander turned to the Dominion Vice-Admiral: "And of course we will do the same with your nation too Vice-Admiral Taravis."
"For the political isolation. I must say it's more of a political move on our part and would not affect our relation."
"In term of the 'collapsing of WRL', it is indeed an unfortunate event but I will let Vice-Admiral Taravis here to talk about this further as well as the possible internal and external threats the area may have to face." Kia spoke sincerely while turning to the Dominion's official.
[IRS]
"Forgive me, I do not have much details on the trial. What we know, most of it inferred from the galactic net on a very surface level. So perhaps, Vice Admiral Taravis, you can elaborate on how the dissolution of the WRL is for the greater good?" Barenkovic asked
[Dominion]
Taravis responded to Barekovic first, since the clarification was needed. “Ah yes, when it seems that your enemy is utterly defeated what do you do? If you are heavy on ego you make your next move emboldened by your success with a possible assumption that none can stop you. In that way, the ‘collapse’ of the WRL is merely a means of revealing the hand of those who do not have the best interest of the whole of the west in mind.” Vice-Admiral took a moment to smoke and continued on. “I do not believe it to be coincidence that, the moment the Davians make a regrettable mistake the TDA acted as they did. That entire matter should have been handled with a private hearing but it seems President Johnson (the leader of TDA) insisted on turning it into a media frenzy. His behavior was not that of one seeking justice but that of someone who wanted a kangaroo court. Basically, the WRL has only dissolved if you believe the media; in reality it’s very much operational. To be more specific, the Davians were never removed from the WRL…it was Captain Folami’s idea at the spur of the moment to make it seem so.”
===============================[Cycle: 5]
[Davia]
"I can clarify that Vice-Admiral Taravis is speaking the truth." Kia spoke again: "Indeed I cannot deny that the regrettable incident did happen, however in our perspective the entire trial is what we called 'a smear campaign'. Anyway, your idea about containing them through economic links is a reasonable plan."
"But after all the TDA's ambition still not manifests itself into truly hostile action yet and if I remember it right they still maintain some diplomatic ties and NAP with the Dominion here so we may have times to figure out how to deal with it. However, TDA is not the only problem in the area, there are the other more direct threat. Ladies and gentlemen, please look at this. Gold show it if you please."
Gold put a data pad in front of Kia which showed the new version of the Frontier's map: "Please look here." Kia pointed at the red colored location on the map: "Here's the location of a faction who called themselves as Vaanitas Supremacy. The red color here means they are hostile."
"Our exploration fleet came to them in peace; they turned out to be a warlike and aggressive faction who value war and subjugation. Our attempt to establish first contact with them failed, the TDA step in tried to repair it yet all they want is to 'slaughter Davians'. And their hostility had manifested itself into action. As far as we know they had open fired again the Dominion's fleet. Worse than that, very recently they opened fire on one of our small task forces and destroyed the entire group. We have reasonable evidence that they did not care whom they were shooting at as they also destroyed a flagged civilian vessel in their attack. Besides, according to our field record the Dominion's fleet was also fired upon by them in that very same incident. And this Vaanitas Supremacy have ally in the form of Cricaen Kingdom who joined together to attack the Davian task force. These events have clearly showed their hostility again both Davia and Dominion and I must say that Davia is currently in a state of war with both nations. Unfortunately, we still have not managed to find out more detailed information about the Vaanitas or the Cricaen Kingdom."
"There is more though, The Vannitas's position in our opinion..." The visualized map expanded further: "… may affect our trade routes, and the area's trade route within the northern part of the galaxy. There is a theory that if they somehow affiliate with APP then the latter will gain a powerful foothold which not only threatens the Avarian Frontier but also both the RSC and Nuclean territories."
[IRS]
"These guys are textbook APP members. I bet the Capitol will love them straight away. You are in an unenviable position Sector Commander Kia, making new friends by the day," Barenkovic gave out a dry chuckle. He immediately cleared his throat and straightened his necktie. "Well...in all seriousness, an invasion of Davia seems to be quite imminent. I would recommend we fortify Davia's defences first and increase military presence here to deter and counter such a possible invasion. The Republic has 320 ships on standby and ready for deployment, and if you like, we can also contribute some defence stations. If the Risallas Dominion is deploying some troops, all the three of us could form a joint defence command of sorts."
[Dominion]
“There are more nuances to what happened at Zaingraf and during the pathfinding operation then are covered of course. I think we can agree that the Vaanitas Supremacy is quite paranoid, aggressive and not a good neighbor. I do agree with Mr. Shimm, they would be absolute APP material which means their friends the Cricaens are as well….” The vice admiral utilized a wrist mounted holographic projector to show Dominion footage and sensor information from the Zaingraf Incident to highlight his next statement. “Intercepted transmissions from the Vaanitas during the Zaingraf incident support that the blind aggression shown by the Vaanitas against the Davians is shared by the Cricaen Kingdom. Strangely enough the Vaanitas only fired at Commodore Oluchi’s recon task force once and then ignored them; the Cricaens never fired a shot at our forces. This failure to pursue allowed for a critical data transfer of all pertinent information from the Davian forces to be sent to the Commodore’s flagship so that it could be safely brought back.” The footage shifts to footage from the Davian emergency data dump, which shows sensor log data and footage of the Ancient once making good on the Vaanitas offer to change sides against Davia for the price of hard light hologram technology. The display shifted to detailed information about the weapons being used by the enemy and basic scan data of enemy warships. “While there was a butcher’s bill, the net gain here is that now we know even more about them. Also, we now know the Ancient Ones cannot be trusted as they will trade loyalties for technology bribes. Their statement to the Davians when questioned about their actions was digitally recorded. They sold the WRL and the Davians out for hard light hologram technology…the same technology I’m using the project this...the problem with that is obvious.”
===============================[Cycle: 6]
[Davia]
Kia nodded: "Divine Davia Empire would gladly accept your offer Mr.Berenkovic. In exchange, your military units can be station within our border and we will ensure their logistic or more should you require. And we would also allow IRS and RD to use our territory as staggering ground for further operation. For the idea of join military command, I support this and believe we can figure it out."
"I can clarify that Mr.Taravis is the true." Green who was sitting on one side of Kia nodded: "The Zaingraf Incident not only clarified the aggressive nature of both Vannitas and Cricaen again us but also showed that the Ancient One are traitors who ready to sold their allies out right on the field of battle just because the aggressors offered them technology. They are not trust-worthy and Vice-Admiral taravis has mentioned the exact statement that proves they are not. Gold replayed the exact response from the Ancient Ones when their loyalty was called into question.
“To the commander of the Davian forces. We do not care for how you see us, you are basics and are beneath us. As such we do not care for such concepts as reputation or betrayal, we are above such ideas.”
“However, on the bright side the events that unfolded just weeks ago happened before any critical defense plans were made involving the Ancient Ones. The unfortunate effect of this betrayal is that it adds yet another potential nation to the list of nations who might seek to attack our primary trade sector.” With that, Kia noticed that Gold wished to speak. "With your allowance, there is another bit of good news to announce." Gold who sat on the other side of Kia spoke: "Recently I have managed to establish diplomatic relation with the Annoliddan Inquisition. The diplomatic mission was a success and they would very likely provide help if needed."
[IRS]
"The Ancient Ones' actions are indeed regrettable. But news of a fellow ally from the Battle of Rubikon on our side is reassuring. Perhaps our proposed joint command can include them if they are willing to commit troops to the defense of Davia," Barenkovic looked to Kia before continuing on. "Furthermore, I believe that once the defences for Davia is complete, we can think of establishing long range patrols and outposts to secure trade routes in the north. Maybe even use them to disrupt the Vaanitas' supply lines."
[Dominion]
"While they are, it ultimately has saved us a lot of trouble in the long run." Vice Admiral Taravis adjusted the projection to show a rough force approximation. "In terms of what we are bringing to the table to aid Davia, Captain Folami's group has been assigned to my command. They were the Vaanitas task force so they are all front-line troops. My forces, which fought at both Rubikon and the Crucible are also present albeit in the process of repairing, refitting and receiving replacements for vessels and crews lost. Jointly we have been assigned by high command as a rapid response force against any incursions against Davian territory." The holographic display indicated a bare minimum commitment of 288 warships with their associated logistical assets. "On Mr. Shimm's idea to hit their supply lines, the pathfinder mission yielded a lot of data regarding the Vaanitas's territory. It could be useful in planning the disruption of supply lines."
===============================[Cycle: 7]
[Davia]
"I am glad that both of you would contribute a sizeable force such as those. Of course, as the major target of any hostile action, Divine Davia Empire would commit large part of our available forces into our own defense." Kia replied with a smile: "In case of your forces Mr. Taravis I see that your units need repair and refit after Rubikon and Crucible thus we want to offer our help for doing so if you want to." He then turned to Barenkovic: "And yes your idea seem viable to me, and since Mr. Taravis here has also agreed with it, I think we can begin planning about that as soon as possible. We would not only commit our forces but would also voluntary funding and provide logistic support for these operations as much as we can."
[IRS]
"Looks like Davia's security concerns have been largely addressed with this joint defense command, at least militarily. Sector Commander, do you have any other issues you would like to discuss?" Barenkovic asked Kia.
[Dominion]
"I agree with Mr. Shimm, though I must add that the Dominion will be speaking with the RSC soon, I think they would find the risk level of the current situation very interesting." Vice-Admiral Taravis turned off his projector and looked to Kia waiting to see if there were any other issues to be handled.
===============================[Cycle: 8]
[Davia]
"Yes, I agree with it. For the other concern, I think it's also the good times for us to talk to you about some other information." The sector commander said: "Voi Con as we all know is our major trade system in this galaxy. However, people said it's not good to put all the eggs in one bag. That's why we Davian were building another trade system at the other location. This happened a while ago, before the trial of Davia actually, we had intended to use it exclusive for trading higher than normal goods with our allies or WRL and most likely the AGA. However, the trial forced us to change our planning and with the recent events and the alliance between us affirmed we will give you the location of this new system, that said system was not finished at the moment and if you can spare us some help building it up then it would be great. Our only request is you keep its location in secret. Should something bad happen to Voic Con then we still have this new system to spare, at least for our close allies."
"Beside as you may aware, we Davians came to this galaxy through a wormhole. That wormhole is our life blood. Should the wormhole be lost then we will lose contact with the larger Empire. While we hold enough technology to made new wormhole, the process will take times and as we all know Davia's holding is not safe. Thus, here is my request. I request either the Dominion or IRS to allow us to build a small auxiliary wormhole near your territory if it's at all possible. By doing so we would not be bottle neck, in return these wormholes would allow us to trade with your faction’s safety. Of course, as they stay near your territories we would let your military forces station there along with us. Still this's just our request."
[IRS]
"Sounds like something the Republic can do. We can redirect some of our orbital infrastructure to this new trading system. Whatever you need; shipyards, trading ports, warehouses, factories, you name it. Additionally, some of our mining fleets can be called up to help speed up the extraction of raw materials," Barenkovic replied to Kia.
"Well...as for the auxiliary wormhole, I am willing to authorize one in IRS territory but I need to disclose the fact that IRS space is not all that safe either with close proximity to the Capitol and other APP members. I suggest the wormhole be placed in the Dominion first, and once immediate threat of the Capitol subsides, you can build the wormhole in our space."
[Dominion]
Vice-Admiral Taravis carefully worded his response to the wormhole idea as it could politically be a touchy subject. "While I do see the merit of the idea of having a wormhole, thus far there is no reason to believe the existing Davian-Dominion trade route is in danger. The major issue is if the Government and High Command would even agree to it, since there are serious economic issues to be contended with.... I can make a recommendation, but there's no guarantee they'd even agree."
===============================[Cycle: 9]
[Davia]
Kia listened and smiled back: "Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I think that's all I need to tell you for now. I am glad that you are still with us in this rather tough time." He then stood up and sincerely put a data pad on the table: "To wrap it up honored allies, here is the Memorandum for our meeting. I'm Kia, Sector Commander of Divine Davia Empire 19th sector signed this memorandum for this meeting. Do you, Mister Barenkovic Shimm, Civil Administrator of the Interstellar Republic of Singapore and Vice-Admiral Taravis of the Risallas Dominion, as representatives of your respective nations, do you accept these terms as laid out in the Memorandum?"
[IRS]
"I, Barenkovic Shimm, Civil Administrator of the Interstellar Republic of Singapore, hereby sign this Memorandum and pledge military and economic aid to the Divine Davian Empire as according to the arrangements explicitly agreed to in the course of this meeting,"
[Dominion]
"As the elected representative of the Dominion and its people, The Dominion agrees to maintain the existing NAP as well as increasing military aid to the scale we have discussed in this meeting." If presented with a document to sign Vice-Admiral Taravis would sign. "Let's hope that no foreign power decides to test the unity of this agreement."
===============================[Cycle: 10]
======oOo======
[Davia]
After the meeting which led to the joined defensive pact between the Divine Davia Empire, the Risallas Dominion and the Interstellar Republic of Singapore, the respective representatives of both RD and IRS would be allowed to stay in Voi Con trade system for a few weeks as honored guests if they chose to do so.
As the IRS's delegate stepped out of the meeting room escorted by Green, the Dominion's delegate remained behind along with Kia and Gold however. While the negotiation was a success and over, there was still another thing to settle, something more 'private' between the factions of the West.
Kia watched and respectfully bowed as the IRS leaved before sitting down and talked with Vice-admiral Taravis: "Thank you for your and your people's support Vice-admiral. I think you already know why we are still here isn't it? There's another thing we need to settle, which regarded to… hm… our former 'ally' the TDA and the reparation for them. I believe the Dominion had delivered those goods to them successfully by now isn't it?"
[Dominion]
Vice-Admiral Taravis looked over the most recent reports of activity and then to Kia and Gold. His personal holographic device denoted the progress of the reparations convoy in question as well as that of the last of the reparations convoys returning from the Vestahl Commonwealth. “Well, Convoy 20371 has just reported in for their last check-in before making a hard burn to ANAT. ” Vice-Admiral Taravis then brought up a holographic projection of the convoy’s course, they were headed roughly back towards Dominion space as of their last hyper-field jump. The Vestahl convoy in respects was just about to move through Davian territory on its route back to ANAT. “I know the Vestahl will be glad to have received what they asked for but, I expect that President Johnson will be quite furious when he finds out what he got.”
[Davia]
Kia simply shrugged in responded: "Most likely. But truly he has none to blame but himself. Those were his very words." The sector commander put the record on the table: "He demanded 'highest quality red crystal' yet failed to clarify what type of Red Crystal or maybe he just likes some exotic jewelry to make his appearance prettier. Had he been more intelligent he should have demanded 'first military grade of Red Crystal'. Thus, according to his demands, we have paid him what he wanted which is pure and unrefined crystal. They are bright and pretty, perfect jewelry I must say, but wholly useless for military, scientific or industrial purposes."
"But Vice-Admiral, please do not mistake this as treachery from our part." Gold continued: "We followed his words to the letter, and want it or not those crystals worth quite a lot of money. He can sell them and give the money to the families or simply give them for the families who in turn can use them as memorial or sell them for money. As we all knew, the TDA didn't even make a demand for us to support the families of the fallen, as they only seemed to care for obtaining unique material. By sending them these valuable goods hopefully we can indirectly do the right thing which is support those we wronged."
[Dominion]
Vice-Admiral Taravis could not help but chuckle when just for the briefest of moments he imagined President Johnson’s face when he realized he’d acted as a fool and been played as one too. The actions of the Davians reminded him somewhat of the old myth from earth about a group of mythological beings called the Fae and the dangers of entering into agreements with them. The danger wasn’t that they would break the agreement, it was how the agreement was worded and its interpretation that posed the danger. What you meant when you forged it might not precisely be how the Fae acted on their part of the bargain...and now the Davians were demonstrating a level of cunning that had to be respected.
“No, I would not call that treachery, that the TDA’s president was so willing to throw the Davian empire under the proverbial bus however could be called that. His quadrupling or reparations is nothing more than greed on his part. This means we should consider the TDA a threat to the safety of Davian territories, they know where Voi Con is and we both know it’s a very tempting target for any enemy of the Davian Empire.” Vice-Admiral Taravis let that thought sit for a moment before continuing. “As before we can afford to wait and build up defenses, eventually someone will blunder into them, and besides the new technology we’ve been testing in military defense drills is working perfectly…it would be quite expensive in losses of material and manpower for anyone to come to Voi con as an aggressor now.”
[ RP note: tRPW occurs after the end of rubikon & crucible as well as after the space battle at I never said I was brave. As of this post it's assumed that all reparations to the Vestahl Commonwealth and the TDA have been paid in full. The following players were invovled in this RP aside from myself:

===============================[Cycle: 2]
===============================[Cycle: 3]
===============================[Cycle: 4]
===============================[Cycle: 5]
===============================[Cycle: 6]
===============================[Cycle: 7]
===============================[Cycle: 8]
===============================[Cycle: 9]
===============================[Cycle: 10]
======oOo======
